Even though I missed the majority of season 1, I'll accept this as a peace offering from Netflix... Since mainstream Hollywood pushed Fast 9 back to 2021. I hate waiting for these properties to come out. But since it's fast, furious and full of over the top vehicle hijinks, I can buy into that in an animated series. Enjoy, y'all.

Blaxploitation horror... Two words that combine to bring me so much joy nowadays. I say "nowadays" because I spent a long time letting movies like these pass my by, but I'm gaining more of an appreciation. As much as I want a remake of this film, I was really surprised at how well it holds up. This was definitely one that broke some ground for movies like Vampire In Brooklyn to be made, but in a more comedic manner. Nonetheless it's still a classic to be remembered. Enjoy, folks.

Blumhouse is one for direct sequels and remakes for some reason... In the case of of ballsy moves Halloween 2018, they pull it off. In the case of just pitiful moves like Black Christmas 2019, there's no excuse for that. Just like there's no excuse for this. But I was misled because this is actually a sequel to the 1996 classic witchcraft flick. But it doesn't feel that way. Enjoy, y'all.

This movie always floats it's way around my spin cycle, so it's only right I pay my respects... While the movie still deserves it that is. This is such a gem that I think people forget just how dark it actually gets. But as any Tim Burton and Batman collab should be. An underrated masterpiece. Enjoy, y'all.

In the year 2020 and with all mainstream horror being pushed back until 2021, I see the names Lin Shaye/Tobin Bell and I side eye the project... Nothing against those two whatsoever. I love their acting. But they're two of the many horror icons that can fully attach themselves to a genre film, knowing good and well it's not their best work. I admire the dedication to us horror buffs, but I can't always settle for big names. We shall see. Enjoy, people.

Finally!!!... With today being the date George C. Scott passed away back in 1999, there was no way I could miss the opportunity to cover this film. This was something I wanted to either review or do commentary for since I started this podcast, but I held out. At what a cost too, because this is truly an underrated gem and one of my favorite/scariest movies of all time. Just brilliant on every level, so I kind of geek out during this. Enjoy, y'all.

When I see Clive Barker's name attached to a project, there's this strange and uneasy feeling that comes to mind... Nothing against the man's legacy and his genre genius, but I have to be in the mood to watch his stuff. After his films are done, I feel like I've just left a satanic brothel where everyone sacrifices animals and then themselves after. It's just wild. But it's horror and an anthology, so of course I'm curious. Enjoy, people.

Universal just can't seem to find the right consistency when it comes to this Dark Universe that's forever in limbo... Back in the day set the tone, but I still stick to my guns when I say the 90s and early 2000s had these properties on smash. Now we have another take on the character Claud Rains made epic. The first take since Kevin Bacon in Hollow Man if I'm not mistaken. This is my first time giving this movie a full run by the way. Enjoy, folks.
