This entry has a shit ton of issues... I know. But what I can't do is act like it hasn't played a major part in not only my childhood, but my Halloween series nostalgia. It sails in some aspects but drowns in others, because it doesn't know what it wants to be. However, Tutor is here to try to make sense of it all. I think. Enjoy, people.

After revisiting the first film recently, it was only right I checked out the sequel... While this is like my second and a half watch this time around, this follow up actually is very decent considering a sequel could have worked against the classic Blacula. Instead we get some decent continuity, casting, acting, and moments from this gem here. Enjoy, people.

Having never read the book as a kid, the 1990 on screen adaptation of The Witches was always classic childhood nostalgia for me... And the older I got, the more I noticed how dark in tone that movie truly could get. It had the potential to be a horror/comedy if it wanted to be. So when the news broke that Robert Zemeckis himself was directing Anne Hathaway as the Grand High Witch in a remake, with Octavia Spencer as the Grandmother, I was surprisingly all in. With names like these and then some, there's no way this can fail. Right? Enjoy, people.

Let me tell y'all something right now... I don't care how silly a movie may be, voodoo is just something that sits all wrong with me in any film. Some antics shouldn't be played with so when I got the feeling this had that vibe to it, I was more interested. Omari Harwick and Lorretta Divine already drew me in, but the idea of it seemed interesting. Enjoy, y'all.

This seems like a flick that's going to make you ladies out there look at sew ins an entirely different way... This is while I prefer just low cuts and no hair in general for myself. Though I've seen this narrative before, it's sometimes fun to see how clothes, objects, or even hair can take control of it's human host and cause havoc. Only if it's done well, though. Enjoy, people.
