When I say this is literally something I've prayed for, people... I am not kidding in the slightest. From theorizing ideas for a sequel to fan casting a remake, this is something that I couldn't ask for more. Jordan Peele is the perfect person to get behind a remake for The People Under The Stairs and people who are savvy to his body of work and what it stands for, you know exactly why. Enjoy, folks.

Night Of The Living Dead is obviously my favorite film of all time... And being as though nobody could seem to respect it enough to even get it right after the 1990 remake, there's really nowhere to go but up with this property, right? So when the news broke that a new remake is in the works, I actually was pretty thrilled. But then something happened that totally made me second guess, but I'll let that explain itself as the episode goes on. I also give a brief history of the NOTLD property, just to give people an idea of how far we have and haven't come over the years. Enjoy, people.

Nothing like some 90s blaxploitation horror/comedy for the evening... It's a genre that needs so much more love and respect, but it's been active before I was even born. Had it not been for the template films, we wouldn't have gems like this here, and with an all star cast that was quite recognizable from it's time. What a way for the late and great Wes Craven and Charlie Murphy to collab with Eddie Murphy, and make what can pretty much be considered the 90s version of Blacula. Enjoy, y'all.

Nonetheless this had me curious when I saw it pop up in my Facebook timeline, because certain sci-fi movies always peak my interest. And since I can't bring myself to finish Interstellar, maybe this will give me motivation. Enjoy, people.

If there's one thing that makes me itch, it's bugs.... Big, small, the size of a basketball player, whatever. Just no. So the idea of a genetic experiment gone awry in the form of mutated cockroaches is just insane to me. But in a way that amazes me with the impact it still has on me. This was the first of three go rounds with the Judas Breed bugs here, and it's the best one you're going to see on screen. Even though there's a tv series coming, this will always reign supreme. Being a self proclaimed Halloween movie buff, I had to show love... This was a sequel that set Michael's bad assery in stone differently. The Shape's presence was so needed after Halloween III: Season Of The Witch strayed away from the characters and story we've come to know and love, but what a chess move for the producers and crew to bring the big guy back home for another night of trick or treating. Majority wins, so this one was a good one to let people vote on... Not to mention that it's one of my favorite movies. From a tragic on set disaster to behind the scenes mayhem to a "cursed" set after reboots were tried repeatedly, this property has had it's ups and downs. But THIS. This is the classic. The whole gothic and Halloween theme driven aspects are some elements that truly set this apart from your average dark hero/vigilante adaptations. Enjoy, folks.
