May 15, 2020A Nightmare On Elm Street: In Dreams Fan Film Commentary (First Time Watch)Anything positive pertaining to Freddy Kruger these days, in the midst of the franchise being in limbo, is a big plus... So I jumped at the chance to react to this very short fan film here. I appreciate any creativity put into these things. Enjoy, people....more18minPlay
May 15, 2020A Look Back At Venom 2005This is a gem in some ways for me... It doesn't get the love it should, and I actually understand why. I also understand why this was a box office bomb when it was released back then, but I can appreciate some of the original ideas that were brought to the table here. So I decided to look back at the pros and cons of what was supposed to be horror's new franchise face in what was Ray Sawyer. Enjoy, folks....more53minPlay
May 15, 2020Shark Movies That Still Haven't Taught Us A Damn Thing On ScreenThere was news today that broke my heart... But it shouldn't have suprised me one bit after the last rodeo. But to say the least, there are enough shark movies out here, good AND bad, to know to refrain from the same fucking mistakes in this sub genre. Enjoy, people....more38minPlay
May 14, 2020Halloween 2018 CommentaryI figured I'd beat the cast/crew to the punch, speak some good mojo into the air, and do commentary for this in hopes that the Halloween Kills trailer drops this Saturday... Not to mention this movie was pretty solid. While Michael Myers is my favorite slasher of all time, I do have some issues with this film. But they don't overtake the fact that it's a solid entry in the franchise, and a great arc for the Laurie Strode character. As well as Michael Myers. Enjoy, people....more1h 51minPlay
May 12, 2020Unfinished Business: Kill Beatrix Needs To Happen ASAPWith Bill having been killed in volume 2, I guess we thought Quintin Tarantino was done with the property altogether... The story was told, and the mission was accomplished. But movie geeks like me have been wanting this since the first movie. Ever since Beatrix killed Vernita Green, then told her daughter Nikkia "I'll be waiting". That was the perfect set up. And even though there's only talks of a volume 3, this is a showdown that I HAVE to see on screen. Enjoy, y'all....more35minPlay
May 09, 2020Friday The 13th 1980 Commentary (Happy 40th Anniversary)The OG turns 40 today, and I honestly found a new appreciation for this one today... Just the simplicity of it, with a mixture of a controversial/confusing ending, makes this flick tick to this day. Not to mention Mrs. Voorhees was a pretty vicious serial killer, and the original Camp Crystal Lake slasher. That is before old Jason shows up in the series to take up the mantle. Enjoy, folks....more1h 42minPlay
May 07, 2020Becky Trailer Reaction/ThoughtsWhether she is Becky with the good hair or not, this actually caught me by surprise... I'm all for a good random, B-movie type of revenge thriller. Enjoy, y'all....more15minPlay
May 04, 2020The Blackout Trailer Reaction/ThoughtsYet another trailer I went into completely blind... Hence the blackout title I guess. Enjoy, folks....more15minPlay
May 02, 2020The 90s Horror Era Was An Underrated Gem Of It's TimeThere's this ongoing thing... The idea that the horror genre was sure enough dead in the 90s, at least until Scream came into the fold and broke some new mold. And while Scream is epic and all, I feel like we shouldn't sleep on 90s horror that came before it in any way. We got some bangers here for sure. Some of mixed quality I'm certain, but these are great genre pieces to say the least. Enjoy, people....more57minPlay
April 28, 2020David Gordon Green Is About To Raise Some HellI have to be honest when I say that Hellraiser is no far from my go to series, or one of my favorite horror franchises overall... It's just too damn insane, and that says a lot coming from a horror movie fanatic. But when I read the news that Pinhead was on his way back to not only the big screen but the small screen as well, they had my curiosity for sure. I just never expected David Gordon Green and Michael Dougherty to be attached. So I decided to talk a bit about where the series has been, where it ended up, and how I feel about this new tv series idea. Enjoy, y'all....more40minPlay
