April 06, 2020Hush 2016 Commentary (First Time Watch)I absolutely adore a great film that plays on senses... Wait Until Dark, Hear No Evil, Jenifer 8, etc. So being as though I've slept on this here for sooo very long, I took advantage of Netflix once again and decided to check this out. I actually was not disappointed at all, but I do a lot of talking to the screen due to characters making dumb decisions. But we wouldn't have a solid horror/thriller without that aspect. Enjoy, y'all....more1h 26minPlay
April 05, 2020Terrifier Spoiler ReviewMaaan, listen... When I say this here was quite the horror experience, I couldn't put it into any other words. Just when I thought Pennywise was the only one to creepily clown around on screen, I came across Art The Clown himself. This guy is no laughing matter whatsoever. Enjoy, people....more1h 4minPlay
April 04, 202050 States Of Fright Trailer Reaction/ThoughtsAnthologies are always a great time in horror... Creepshow, Tales From The Crypt, Tales From The Hood, they all can tie together so well. So I was curious to see what made Sam Raimi put his seal of approval on this one here. Enjoy, folks....more12minPlay
April 02, 2020The Wash IntoxiCommentaryI stumbled upon a true black cinema comedy classic earlier today, so I had to speak on it and during it... This one is a gem. I was feeling it during this one, but not too much. That is all. Enjoy, people....more1h 38minPlay
April 02, 2020Hair Raising Moments In HorrorHow many of you horror movie buffs can honestly say you scare easily?... I'm talking the slightest sign of danger type of scared. Not I. It takes more than enough to scare this CineManiac, and it doesn't even always have to be a wild and off the charts scare. It can be something as simple as dialogue, or a single shot in a film, etc. It's all about how the scare itself is executed. But there are a few times, from my childhood which carried on into adulthood, that horror/thriller flicks have done the damn thing to me... A few times they've made me anxious and gave me chills. Enjoy, people....more55minPlay
April 02, 2020Peninsula Trailer Reaction/ThoughtsI wasn't too big on the idea of a sequel to Train To Busan to begin with... It's a modern classic. But we've got zombies. And I love zombies. So I checked this out. Enjoy, y'all....more20minPlay
April 02, 2020Release Date Changes And Production Halts Galore... Is There Any Hope For Cinema These Days?Safe to say, Covid-19 has been a real bitch... Even Life itself would be appalled. As a movie buff, it bothers me that my precious films (the good ones anyhow) have to suffer as well as other affected during this time. I feel like films are all people have as an outlet at times, and they're slowly being compromised. But I can understand why. Here I'm just discussing a few of the films being put on pause at the moment, and a brief few that may actually give us hope as far as intended release dates go. Enjoy, folks....more45minPlay
April 01, 2020April Fool's Day 1986 CommentaryI'm not one for the pranks and hijinks this day brings about, but it's funny because I enjoy watching them on screen nonetheless... So this was a must. Even though this is one of those movies that led me astray as far as the outcome, these characters here are written so much better than the average 80s slasher flicks. So it was well worth the viewing again. Happy April Fool's to my Tutor Reviewers. Enjoy, people....more1h 34minPlay
April 01, 2020DC Villains For Ben Affleck's Batman (Arkham Asylum Idea)With Batman 2021 shutting down it's production recently, all I'm left to do is wishful thinking in my head... Just living in the land of DC ideas that could be amazing if I had a say so. Being as though Batfleck is my favorite version by far, I realized that the closest I've gotten to anything resembling Arkham Asylum was the warehouse fight scene in BvS. So with that being said, I came up with some popular villains who would be simply epic to go up against Batsy in that type of scenario on screen. Just the thought of this gets me hyped up. Enjoy, y'all....more50minPlay
March 31, 2020How I Feel About The Lamar Odom/Noreaga Exchange On Drink ChampsDrink Champs is definitely one of my top 5 podcasts ever... It's completely unfiltered (as most should be), it's entertaining, and it tends to go in so many different directions at any moment. The unpredictability makes it tick in a big way. So when I heard Lamar Odom (Lake Show stand up) was on the latest episode, I had to catch it asap. But this interview was a bit different than the ones I've come to know and love, and that's for both better and worse. But the realism of it all made this one of the best episodes I've seen... And shit gets a bit heated after a while. Enjoy, folks....more52minPlay
