I'm not one for the pranks and hijinks this day brings about, but it's funny because I enjoy watching them on screen nonetheless... So this was a must. Even though this is one of those movies that led me astray as far as the outcome, these characters here are written so much better than the average 80s slasher flicks. With Batman 2021 shutting down it's production recently, all I'm left to do is wishful thinking in my head... Just living in the land of DC ideas that could be amazing if I had a say so. Being as though Batfleck is my favorite version by far, I realized that the closest I've gotten to anything resembling Arkham Asylum was the warehouse fight scene in BvS. So with that being said, I came up with some popular villains who would be simply epic to go up against Batsy in that type of scenario on screen. Just the thought of this gets me hyped up. Drink Champs is definitely one of my top 5 podcasts ever... It's completely unfiltered (as most should be), it's entertaining, and it tends to go in so many different directions at any moment. The unpredictability makes it tick in a big way. So when I heard Lamar Odom (Lake Show stand up) was on the latest episode, I had to catch it asap. But this interview was a bit different than the ones I've come to know and love, and that's for both better and worse. But the realism of it all made this one of the best episodes I've seen... And shit gets a bit heated after a while. Enjoy, folks.

With the release of the new sequel coming in June (hopefully), this character in general has been on my brain heavy... Candyman not only still intrigues me, but he scares the shit out of me. That's a win in my book. So I found the original flick and decided to be both scared and entertained by it during. I won't lie, this viewing hit me a bit differently this time. There's so many new found layers to this film, and it made for a better watch, even through my jokes. Enjoy, folks.

Is this a good video game adaptation?... No. But is this one of the worst in the moshpit of terrible video game adaptations? Absolutely not. This movie is always fun to watch, even through the many things it does wrong here. One if the things is does do well is tap into that old gamer geek inside of me, and hits me with some solid nostalgia at times. But I have a lot of the fun here just poking fun at it overall. Marvel this, DC that, and a few rumblings of Valiant now that Bloodshot has been released... But have we forgotten some of the other, lesser known and beloved superheroes from the 90s? There's so many that I didn't even get a chance to take notes on or even mention, but the ones I've got here would make for some solid modernizations on the big screen. Enjoy, y'all.

There is a disclaimer here... I say some things in regards to this (and much more) that people may dislike, which is fine. I'm all for black excellence on screen but I feel like when certain moves are made, we as black people are back peddling right back into an era we escaped from. Tyler Perry is a walking success story nonetheless. But I've got more than a few opinions in response to his own response about constantly wearing a dress in cinema. Enjoy, people.

I had been wanting to check this out since the moment I saw the trailer... There's a BIG shortage in water beast films in horror that we got back in the day: Jaws, Alligator, Lake Placid, Deep Blue Sea, etc. So multiple alligators as opposed to a single one had me curious for certain. Sam Raimi cosigning on an Alexandre Aja film was also a big plus. This one was an experience to say the least. Enjoy, folks.

Though this is a bad movie, I can't act like all of the Leprechaun movies have been rational or great in quality. This is one of the two I have the most fun poking at, so space is where it's at. If there's Michael Myers involved, I'm more than likely intrigued... Be it fan film or theatrical release. As far as the fan films I've seen tackling Halloween, most were let downs, with the exception of a very small handful. But this here... What a find to occupy my time with no regrets. Enjoy, people.
