The last thing I expected was to see this news... And the last thing I expected was to be all in favor of it. There's been so many attempts to being back old Wolfy into the fold, whether it be a solo flick or a connected universe flick. Some have been decent, and others not so much. But hopefully Universal has been taking notes and they're ready to separate Ryan Gosling from The Notebook, and bring him howling at the moon in a new take. Enjoy, folks.

Leave it up to our good friends at the MPAA to consistently nit pick at some glorious gore effects on screen... The crazy thing is that it seems as though they're WAY more lenient towards horror movies now that they can be so unfiltered (Saw, Hostel, The Hills Have Eyes, etc.). I just hate the idea of practical effects geniuses having their hard and amazing work turned into something that's tame, or even unseen footage. I had five movies in particular here that were cut down so badly, the gore is almost nonexistent. But big shout out and major respect to those fx teams that put so much into bringing us gory glory in the genre. Enjoy, people.

I'm sure I've never seen this harmless childhood game played quite like this before... When you throw in dark humor, horror and cult antics, things are bound to get bat shit crazy. I wasn't familiar with these directors here, but Radio Silence has gotten the acclaim from this here for good reason. Enjoy, y'all.

Be warned, people... I didn't know this movie trailer's dialogue was going to be in straight up Russian, and I tried to be vocal about some lines in the subtitles. Not what I'm used to, so my apologies if this throws listeners off. But if it's a new creature feature, as long as I get some solid practical effects on top of the CG, I'm curious as to what separates it from the rest of them. Enjoy, folks.

You just can't keep a good remake down... Or in this case, what I think will be a bad one in every sense. You just can't recapture certain 90s nostalgia, man. It doesn't matter who or what is attached to the project... There's no topping something like this original cult classic, so I just had to vent about the overall idea of this nonsense. Leave it up to Christopher Noland to give me a movie that looks like it'll make my head hurt... During the morning of my hangover. But I'm intrigued to say the least. Enjoy, people.

First of all, I have to apologize to anyone who may be tuning in and/or watching the film with me as the commentary goes along... There are some very minor moments when the DVD I was playing skips, but nothing too serious. But other than that, I had to take the time out to admire one of my top 5 zombie movies ever made. Characters I was emotionally invested in, social commentary, guns, gore, looters, etc. Oh, and zombies! What's not to love here?!? I wish I had now done this for the extended director's cut, because this one is always a great time. Enjoy, people.

Charlize Theron is certainly loving these kick ass action roles, and she doesn't seem to be letting up... And I can appreciate that. She's already proved that she's more than an on screen chick who's easy on the eyes. She can take those eyes, turn them into grenades, and make you believe otherwise. So of course I have to see her play an immortal, gun toting bad ass in a Netflix original. Enjoy, y'all.

Being as though I'm a huge Creepshow and Creepshow 2 fanatic (fuck Creepshow 3 or whatever that was I saw), this is long overdue for me... The fact that Greg Nicotero put his creative seal of approval is a big statement here.
