This was such a gem to find... It was a childhood theater experience for me but even as a kid who was a horror fanatic, I never realized just how dark the humor was in this. So I can appreciate it way more now. They don't make them like this anymore. Thw perfect balance of genre bits in one film. Enjoy, y'all.

In my opinion, which I give a lot of in this episode (like all my episodes), the idea of a sequel is to stay true to the elements of the original but to up the ante in a big way... To make sure there's a purpose for the sequel in general. Otherwise it's pointless. I'm all for a sequel writer and director shooting for the stars and attempting to give us the best chapter yet. But there are some instances where the creators go overboard. And not just overboard. They jump ship, and just plunge headfirst into the deep end of Shit's Creek. So I discuss a few of those instances that worked, and those that didn't. Enjoy, folks.

This has always been a certified Wayans classic for me... Those guys (and girls) are inspiring to me, and unfiltered in a way I can't even imagine getting to. But I respect the creative genius of them all for sure. So I had to take time out and make sure I showed love to their funniest film on screen for me. Being as though last Christmas was not only Black as night but it was wack as shit, I was interested to see what Dave McCrae was going to do with a new fan film take on this property... This is a title that has nowhere to go but up, so I was hoping this was decent enough to pick my brain. Enjoy, people.

Be warned folks... Not only is this an IntoxiCommentary episode and not only is this damn near 3 hours long, but this is a conversation for the books. I say be warned because myself and my guests veer off topic a LOT here, so much so that we even stop the film a few times to make certain points. So if you stick with this one here, you're a true Day One listener. But nonetheless, this is hands down the best episode I've ever done. All three of us are big Rob Zombie fans, movie buffs, and you can tell our back and forth quips come naturally. This was the most fun I've ever had watching this Halloween remake. Enjoy, y'all.

What a gem to FINALLY be talking about during... I've waited way too long for this so when I saw it again YouTube, I jumped at it. Much like Judy never does when she has the chance on the roof of Hull House in this flick. But to say the least, this here is such a breakthrough 80s horror comedy, with tons of horror, humor, gore, and great characters you can attach yourself to. It's one for the books for those who haven't seen it. Enjoy, y'all.
