Being as though last Christmas was not only Black as night but it was wack as shit, I was interested to see what Dave McCrae was going to do with a new fan film take on this property... This is a title that has nowhere to go but up, so I was hoping this was decent enough to pick my brain. Enjoy, people.

Be warned folks... Not only is this an IntoxiCommentary episode and not only is this damn near 3 hours long, but this is a conversation for the books. I say be warned because myself and my guests veer off topic a LOT here, so much so that we even stop the film a few times to make certain points. So if you stick with this one here, you're a true Day One listener. But nonetheless, this is hands down the best episode I've ever done. All three of us are big Rob Zombie fans, movie buffs, and you can tell our back and forth quips come naturally. This was the most fun I've ever had watching this Halloween remake. Enjoy, y'all.

What a gem to FINALLY be talking about during... I've waited way too long for this so when I saw it again YouTube, I jumped at it. Much like Judy never does when she has the chance on the roof of Hull House in this flick. But to say the least, this here is such a breakthrough 80s horror comedy, with tons of horror, humor, gore, and great characters you can attach yourself to. It's one for the books for those who haven't seen it. Enjoy, y'all.

The Chi has undoubtedly become one of my favorite tv shows ever so when major things don't add up in the story without explanation, my brain goes right to work... I'm not one of those fans who can just let any old thing slide. And being as though I love this story and these characters so much, I need for everything invovled to make sense and come full circle. So there's a few things I must know as far as Season 3 is concerned. Enjoy, folks.

The title for this is actually a breath of fresh air, considering the fact that the last actual Die Hard movie was complete shit... So there's no doubt that even this being an action comedy and almost a spoof of the genre, it's going to be miles ahead of that. Also it's good to see a Philly native on any screen, small or big. Kevin Hart finally gets to stray away from being the sidekick in an action film, and do his own thing. Enjoy, people.

It's about fucking time!... And I say/type that with excitement right now, because this movie has been hard to come by on tv and cable in general. This is the epitome of how to properly do a horror classic remake. It does so many things right, it's hard to even hate on it in my opinion. Tony Todd, Patricia Tallman, and the rest of the cast for starters... They are the glue for this. The writing, direction, and zombies are another. Enjoy, folks.

Make no mistake here... The Halloween series is my favorite of any slasher series in existence. But there are some things this series has done thag I can't turn a blind eye to. Sure, this series began to go in some strange directions when Halloween 5 came into play. And Halloween 6 took the character and story to a completely bonkers level. I know. But when you scrap three entire sequels like they're nothing and deliver a movie that's damn near just as flawed, justice must be served. I can be a fan of these films, but not a fan boy... Big difference. This sequel does some shit that I refuse to act like isn't there. Enjoy, y'all.

One of my top 5 horror remakes of all time... This here is one for the books. There's plenty of cringe and shock value to be had here, and that doesn't always work for horror, or remakes for that matter. But being as though I'm not the Evil Dead purist/fan most are, I was more than open to the idea of a serious toned take on an already wild property. This got me once again. Enjoy, y'all.
