I knew nothing about this at all, but gave it a spin or two to see what it was about. This is a strange looking Indie film to say the least. Enjoy, y'all.

I'm 100% invested in The Walking Dead original series... It's my favorite show ever on TV. And while I have no intentions of investing in any spin offs, y'all know zombies overall peak my curiosity. So I decided to check this here out and give the idea of it a fair shot. Enjoy, folks.

I got a hit up on Facebook about this here, and I had no idea what it was... But not only do I like some good short films, I like the ones that are horror based and Philly bound. So I figured why not do another first time watch commentary, especially for something that wasn't time consuming. The catch here?... I needed way more time. Enjoy, folks.

It just had to be a damn tv show didn't it?... They just can't learn from the already horrendous three different versions of George A. Romero's underrated classic Day Of The Dead. So what do they do? They go back to the drawing board with yet another dumb ass idea. Only THIS time, it's going to be on the small screen. Well, this is a bit if a small rant. Enjoy, y'all.

I will start by saying that this is Stephen Sommers' best movie, and his underrated gem... No offense to how fun his first two Mummy movies were and how much silly fun I had with G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra, but this has a great blend of horror, comedy, and adventure. There's a cast of actors here who would be seen on screen a lot these days in much bigger roles, and it's great to see. There's also a nasty and vicious mutated sea monster that crashes a cruise ship party to have itself more than a few drinks and snacks (pun intended). I love this damn movie. Enjoy, people.

I have to be honest when I say that all this Candyman trailer chatter has my brain on overload... Much of that overload comes from the fact that I'm glad socially relevant black horror movies are back in the forefront as of recently (Us, Get Out, The First Purge, etc.). I'm big on the way lots of those types of films are layered and with Candyman 2020 looking a bit relevant for today's climate, it took me back to rhe idea of a sequel to The People Under The Stairs. Bare with me now... It's just a bunch of ideas describing what I would do with this, and it's not completely terrible, hopefully. Enjoy, folks.

I've noticed that there's a very unnoticed thing happening with horror movies that may or may not pick up... Candyman 2020 has been the most recent film to give a slasher movie the "direct sequel" treatment. It works both in the favor and against the films it follows up on, and the films it disregards in it's new story. I don't get too deep into, but I just touch up on a few things I've peeped in the process and what slashers can maybe take this theory and make it work. Enjoy, people.

I remember going to my junior prom only back in high school... And to be honest, as bad as this remake is, my prom was so boring that I would have been so lucky to have a serial killer step in and shake things up a bit. With that being said, this movie still doesn't get a pass from me. It's so tame, and so lame all in one swoop. Not as terrible as a few of the commentaries I've done, but worthy enough to make this cut. So try to enjoy, folks.

Lots of people were so happy go lucky when Disney bought Fox... Not I, people. I knew that while this was a BIG business move, this was also a BIG mistake for more than a few properties. In particular, properties that were once carrying a hard R rating. Disney ain't having it! And here's three properties I think will suffer quite a bit due to this merge. Enjoy, y'all.
