TV is AWESOME

TV Watchers, we are halfway through our series on the Sandman!

This time around, we are blessed with 80% less Squawk (are the creators listening to us?),  but maybe 50% more ick.  The ick is found mostly in the first episode where John uses his amulet to play some nasty games with both a group of people stuck in a diner - and seemingly the rest of the world - that appear to have dire consequences.  Until it seems like they don't?

In the second episode, we get the story of Hob, a 100 year old man, and his relationship with Dream, which eventually shows a less dickish side of the Lord of Dreams, which is very, very, very necessary at this point in the series.

Plus, how does Death do what she does? How do Heaven and Hell work? Do they screen this show for real people? We volunteer!

In this episode of TVIA, we're going to Hell!  We are back covering two more episodes of The Sandman and, as always, we have THOUGHTS.

Dream journeys to Hell on his quest to regain his objects of power.  Apparently there are " protocols" in Hell, and it's... cold?  Our dear Brienne of Tarth is Lucifer!  But she's saddled with the most unfortunate nana perm.  We get an exciting duel between Dream and Lucifer! But the rules are VERY unclear.  We get a lot of squawking from everyone's favorite exposition raven, Matt.

On the bright side: Johanna Constantine and Ted Lasso's Dr. Sharon!

Lisa and Ken are back with more of The Sandman!

We love Lucienne. More Lucienne! And we love Ethyl too!  But how old is she, exactly, and how old is John who looks older?  Can we have our own pet gargoyle, please?  What's up with the show's version of Cain and Abel (and their pointy elfin ears)?  We're still confused about whether or not Dream needs to eat (he's soooo thin).

Plus, why are the Fates' "riddles" not really riddles, or very hard to figure out?

TV Watchers, we're back with a new season on The Sandman!  We meet the moody and broody Dream who is imprisoned for 100 years by Tywin Lannister, um, Roderick Burgess. We have so many questions!  Do the Endless eat?  What's up with the creepy Corinthian and why is what is he taking people's eyeballs? How can a little bump on the head be so lethal? And did they have credit cards in 1916?

This it! At last we have reached the final two episodes of OZARK... ever!  Listen as we sort through our conflicting feelings about the fates of the Byrdes, Ruth, Agent Maya, Mel, Rachel, Evil John Boy, and Baby Zeke. (Spoiler alert: we don't know what happens to Baby Zeke.)

Who does not survive the finale?? (grrrr)  Who survives the van wreck that's been teased all season?  (ugh)  Is Wendy really crazy? (meh)  Who does Jonah shoot? (hmmm) How could the writers do THAT to Ruth??? (agghhh)

TV Watchers, we're almost at the very end of Ozark, and frankly, we're worried! Are we going to be happy where this whole thing ends up?  So, what's up with the "Wendy is losing her mind" music? She's not crazy! Why did she get spend the night in jail with Marty when that road rage dude HIT HER?  And Marty... MARTY... why are you spilling your guts to Charlotte? Not smart.  Especially while Evil John Boy is trying to swoop in and take the kids away.

Plus, Rachel is back!  Camilla becomes the new Omar, which forces Wendy to give up on her last remaining scruples. Oh, and she slams her head into a car window - ouch.

TV Watchers, we're getting close to the end of Ozark, and we can't handle the tension! The deals with both the FBI and Shaw Pharmaceutical are off the table, so Wendy and Marty are scrambling to make something work. The show wants us to think Wendy is bad, or crazy, or something, and we don't like it! Mel and Agent Maya are flirty flirty flirty. Marty is off to run the Cartel in Mexico, which he turns out to be pretty good at.  Plus, we get a flashback to Ben's darkest moment (RIP Ben, we miss you!).

Hello TV Watchers! This time on Ozark: two Ruth-centered episodes! Ruth is furious to find out Wyatt is marrying Darline. Then, after some awful news, Ruth screams from the depths of her soul, and it is absolutely devastating. And the body count is stacking up (bye bye, Javi, we won’t miss you).

TV Watchers, it's OZARK Season 4 time again! We're almost at the midpoint of the season, and we have questions! How is Wyatt still putting up with a trigger happy Darlene??  Is Wendy really trying to win over Jonah by almost getting him arrested?? Shouldn't a body bleed out all over the kitchen when it's been laying around all day?

Join us to see if we can make sense of it all!

TV Watchers, we're taking a break from OZARK to bring you a special episode on the show of the summer, The Bear! We're crazy about Carmie and the crew... even Richie! We have a TON of thoughts and questions though. How did the money get in the cans of tomatoes, and more importantly, WHY?  How great were the cameos by actors we love?  How did Natalie get the nickname, "Sugar"?  Who's going to make us braciole?  Do we think "family style, two tops and booths, Danish design with a window for sandwiches" is a winning concept for a new restaurant? Who's going to make us Chicago beef sandwiches?
