Part 2 of the Tripp van der Bilt storyline is recapped in today's episode! The focus this time is more on Tripp and Serena and the development and downfall of their affair. Taking it way way back in time to the Upper East Side life of Gossip Girl, when Aaron played a young, manipulative politician named Tripp van der Bilt. It's been a long time since I have watched this series and back when I did watch it, I didn't yet know who Aaron was. So for these next two episodes, I have rewatched just Aaron's episodes of Gossip Girl and have focused on his storyline as Tripp and how his character and his actions become intertwined with the other main characters of the show. Never have I ever experienced time go by as quickly as these last 12 weeks have! April 9th was a night to remember and the emotions of that night and wishing Happy Trails to many cast members are still raw.
