Tveiting Patiently

It's Tony Sunday this weekend! So let's take a little walk back down the best kind of memory lane that led to Aaron Tveit becoming a first time Tony winner! I still cannot listen or watch his speech without getting emotional. That moment for him was so much bigger than the award. He finally felt "seen" by the community he loves being apart of!

Today's episode is a fun little break. While some parents spend time in the car with kid songs blasting, my kids, ages 5 and 3, spend time in the car with Aaron Tveit and Moulin Rouge blasting. So they're familar with the show and Aaron's voice. Both of them sat with me for a few minutes and answered a few questions about Aaron and Moulin Rouge. Hope you enjoy their brief responses.

Part 2 of the Tripp van der Bilt storyline is recapped in today's episode! The focus this time is more on Tripp and Serena and the development and downfall of their affair. I have some thoughts on Tripp and his actions that are different than what I initially thought about him in Part 1...let's see if you agree!

Taking it way way back in time to the Upper East Side life of Gossip Girl, when Aaron played a young, manipulative politician named Tripp van der Bilt. It's been a long time since I have watched this series and back when I did watch it, I didn't yet know who Aaron was. So for these next two episodes, I have rewatched just Aaron's episodes of Gossip Girl and have focused on his storyline as Tripp and how his character and his actions become intertwined with the other main characters of the show. Finally, Aaron's concert at Mercyhurst University took place on May 3rd! The anticipation for the concert has been building up for a year and it did not disappoint. Today's episode is a recap of the concert, stories Aaron shared, reunions between friends, and a brief Aaron meeting.
