Keith finally gets the damn studio to himself this episode. I KNOW you've all been waiting for a Chief Keith Solo Piece so charge up your airpods and put on your dancing shoes for an hours worth of that church-bell voice. On this week's episode, Keith did some digging on the backgrounds of Antifa, the Alt-Right, the Proud Boys, and how they came to a clash in Portland over the weekend. The biggest point that was honed on this podcast is how loosely-defined both Antifa and the "Alt-Right" is, and how that, coupled with their respective moderate counterparts not denouncing distasteful ideologies, fuels the fire for bi-partisan hatred and the furthering of an American Divide. Today, Keith is absent. But Grant and his brother, Taylor, talk about the rise in allergies over the past few decades and what the day-to-day life of someone living with severe allergies is like. Taylor suffers from severe milk and nut allergies, and fills us in on the struggles that come along with that. This is an issue that probably doesn't get enough attention, so please listen and learn!
As always, ridiculous headlines and unpopular opinions include: 100 ducklings, a bear making his own door, ed sheeran, dave matthew's poop, eating your pets, and how 24/7 connectivity to the internet is ruining us.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the individuals and families affected by the El Paso and Dayton shootings this past weekend. This episode explores the El Paso Shooter's manifesto, as well as its possible causes. Republicans are claiming mass shootings are a mental health issue, while Democrats are saying they are motivated by white supremacy and racism - perhaps the two are related. We also explore the Twitter reactions from prominent individuals to the event - analyzing public figures' responses to these events demonstrate the complexity of this issue, as well as the echo chambers people appear to be living in.
As always, unpopular opinions is offered at the end to lift the mood! Topics discussed include: sleeping on a bed vs. sleeping on the floor, girls asking guys out, whether religion is holding us back from the future or not, soundproof bathrooms, children in museums, santa claus and the letter "w"
Welcome back to another episode of Twenty Somethings, this time with just Keith and Grant at the helm. On this week's episode, our hosts dive into some juicy facts on immigration, such as how much illegal immigrants actually pay into taxes, the logic behind an illegal immigrant wanting to pay taxes (yes, it is v logical), and much more. Welcome to episode 51 of Twenty Somethings! This week we have a special guest, Taylor Harlow. Taylor is an actor and artist originally from Kansas. He is currently attempting to make living between Kansas and New York City the "new bi-coastal." We talk about missing nature, the role of artists, which one of us is Italian, the rate at which comedy changes and how people tend to be nicer in the middle of the country.
As usual, we also hit ridiculous headlines and unpopular opinions! Stay tune for pig organ streamed all over a highway in Kansas, Grimes cutting out a piece of her eye, the origins of lyme disease and a woman spraying bug spray into her mouth after eating a cockroach! Others things discussed: carrot cake vs. pie, reddit users, and Facebook / Amazon / Twitter / Google stealing your data! Look out for our subliminal Budweiser ad.
Check out Taylor and his theatre company, Astra Theatre Company, at the Instagram tags below!

It seems every morning we wake up to a new clip from John Oliver, Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers or Bill Maher making fun of Trump or something crazy happening in Washington DC. Usually, these comedians are poking fun at events happening in the news to help people cope with troubling headlines by accompanying them with a laugh. But, some people, and many millenials, are receiving their news solely through comedians and satire. Today, we ask whether this is a good or bad phenomenon, and how this style of news can be modified moving forward. Our guest today Daniel Moors - check him out on Instagram as @danielfromyesterday

On this week's episode of Twenty Somethings, Keith is painfully absent! That means Grant gets to talk as much as he wants about anything he wants!
Today's episode focuses on the recent headlines revolving around the deaths of 11 people on Mount Everest. Grant breaks this phenomenon down and discusses how this is a symptom of the tourist industry and also the age of social media.
Also discussed: A rooster on trail, a snake ringing a doorbell, a woman in jail for writing a poem about a vagina, pancakes, snowmen, dating apps.
This is easily the best episode of Twenty Somethings yet, mostly because Piggy Keith is stuck on the side of a highway somewhere.

This week Keith and Grant break down the first round of democratic debates with special guest Kyle Dooley. Kyle is a self-proclaimed "conservatarian" and trump supporter. We brought him on to diversify our point of view on the debates, while giving insight into the psyche of a demographic of voters many of the democratic candidates are struggling to reach. This was a constructive conversation with both democrats and conservatives at the table, and we hope this shows that anybody with any political point of view can interact in a productive and kind manner!
Also included: ridiculous headlines of cow cuddles and a chicken breakout in New Jersey. Unpopular opinions on cat calling, Jim and Pam from the Office, and solving climate change with radical technology, not protests.
Apologies for the delayed upload this week for the FOURTY-SEVENTH episode of Twenty Somethings (how have you managed to listen to our nasaled voices for that long I will never understand), as Grant was stuck in his favorite state, New Jersey, and couldn't get home to record. We struck a pot of gold this morning though, with special guest Sean McDonough, a recently-graduated and up-and-coming actor in New York. We spent a lot of time talking about the history of celebrity culture, dating all the way back to Greek times and how it has influenced the gravitas of today. Then we took a deep dive into some refreshingly relatable headlines - like the dude who needed an attack squirrel, so he fed a wild one meth and caged it in his yard to thwart any highwaymen. Totally justifiable. We also talked about the intelligent and well-thought-out instagram celebs who took to Chernobyl for some risky 9 AM gram-spams. Totally not a bad idea! The unpopular opinions were... unpopular. Check em out for yourself.

Keith and Grant talk about the most notable lesson taught to them by their fathers. They also discuss what qualities fathers should aim to instill in their sons, and how to create a generation of better men.
Of course, the episode ends with ridiculous headlines and unpopular opinions! Tune in for: A man getting hit by a car while doing push ups in the street, John Cena's boner, to catch a predator, metal straws, soft and hard towels, the perfect way to cook steak and much more!
