Here is this month's Kramer/Fever Dream episode you've been waiting for. Kim has to tell the story of the 'Scantily Clad Witches Munching on a Deer Carcass".  This segues directly into the criteria for characters in a psychological thriller, and do any of them seem like the people in your family? Is anyone paranoid? Nosy? Out of touch with reality?

• Scantily Clad Witches Eating Deer Carcass
• The One
• The House Keeper

Jen and Kim review different ways to start a side hustle. If it seems too good to be true, it is.  They discuss TPT, Poshmark, tutoring, drop shipping, and how much time these endeavors take. They delve into the different uses of social media platforms. Are you posting from TIK TOK to Instagram? Are you using CAPCUT? Are you giving away a freebie to attract customers? Are you posting the same content across all social media platforms?
Kim and Jen are still learning, but they do talk about what they've done, and they share what some other teachers have done for side hustles.

The Twisted Teachers had a great time talking about The Housemaid. This book is full of well-developed yet twisted characters.

AMAZON Book Summary:
“Welcome to the family,” Nina Winchester says as I shake her elegant, manicured hand. I smile politely, gazing around the marble hallway. Working here is my last chance to start fresh. I can pretend to be whoever I like. But I’ll soon learn that the Winchesters’ secrets are far more dangerous than my own…

Every day I clean the Winchesters’ beautiful house top to bottom. I collect their daughter from school. And I cook a delicious meal for the whole family before heading up to eat alone in my tiny room on the top floor.

I try to ignore how Nina makes a mess just to watch me clean it up. How she tells strange lies about her own daughter. And how her husband Andrew seems more broken every day. But as I look into Andrew’s handsome brown eyes, so full of pain, it’s hard not to imagine what it would be like to live Nina’s life. The walk-in closet, the fancy car, the perfect husband.

I only try on one of Nina’s pristine white dresses once. Just to see what it’s like. But she soon finds out… and by the time I realize my attic bedroom door only locks from the outside, it’s far too late.

But I reassure myself: the Winchesters don’t know who I really am.

They don’t know what I’m capable of…

The Housemaid

Jen and Kim catch up with their lives. They talk about stupid EOY things teachers must do before they can leave for the summer. They are very grateful that J Lo includes drinking directions on her new beverage line. Kim's dying her hair pink, and Jen has questions.

Jen and Kim decided to put their writing to work. Usually, when there is a story, there are two different versions-or three if you include the truth. They will be doing a variety of POVs, but this first one is the telling of the 'almost hit and run' from the perspective of the teacher and of the parent.

Kim and Jen give a detailed review of this gripping book. Tune in and enjoy!
Stay Twisted!

This is the story of three best friends: one who was murdered, one who went to prison, and one who's been searching for the truth all these years . . .

When she was sixteen years old, Angela Wong―one of the most popular girls in school―disappeared without a trace. Nobody ever suspected that her best friend, Georgina Shaw, now an executive and rising star at her Seattle pharmaceutical company, was involved in any way. Certainly not Kaiser Brody, who was close with both girls back in high school.

But fourteen years later, Angela Wong's remains are discovered in the woods near Geo's childhood home. And Kaiser―now a detective with Seattle PD―finally learns the truth: Angela was a victim of Calvin James. The same Calvin James who murdered at least three other women.

To the authorities, Calvin is a serial killer. But to Geo, he's something else entirely. Back in high school, Calvin was Geo's first love. Turbulent and often volatile, their relationship bordered on obsession from the moment they met right up until the night Angela was killed.

For fourteen years, Geo knew what happened to Angela and told no one. For fourteen years, she carried the secret of Angela's death until Geo was arrested and sent to prison.

While everyone thinks they finally know the truth, there are dark secrets buried deep. And what happened that fateful night is more complex and more chilling than anyone really knows. Now the obsessive past catches up with the deadly present when new bodies begin to turn up, killed in the exact same manner as Angela Wong.

How far will someone go to bury her secrets and hide her grief? How long can you get away with a lie? How long can you live with it? Find out in Jennifer Hillier's Jar of Hearts.

This episode has a little bit of everything. Kim catches up from her visit to New Jersey. She doesn't speak New Jersey, but she got along just fine. Kim and Jen discuss the student who pepper-sprayed her teacher, AI vetting teachers' social media, and Desantis making things difficult for union members. We would like to let Cher know that she has brought Cougar to a whole new level, and we are sorry for her recent breakup with her 37-year-old boyfriend. Also, congrats to the new daddy Robert Dinero; he's 79 but he's the gift that keeps on giving.
