Hello kitties, I'm baaaaack!

For tonight's episode, we return to the #Creepypasta we began in episode 31, Anhedonius, there we met a heroin addict named David, he caved in to that demon on his back and went to his dealer to get his fix. While there, two large and armed agents of Mercer Pharmaceuticals became quite insistent he get injected with something blue, along with a horse tranquilizer for good measure. The last thing poor David noticed before passing out, was that they shot his friend and dealer.

Ah, smell that air? Dead fish, the salty sea air, seagull poop. Pairs well with rum, if I do say so myself! *sip*

Ah! Nothing like the coast to freshen the senses. The ocean, the sea, or really any large body of water, has always been a source of mystery to human kind. They are home to many myths, legends, and superstitions that have been around since you fleshy mortals first tied a bunch of wood and hide together and set off onto open water. In many ways, space holds a similar fascination, but the water, it’s more easily accessible, more readily available, and still remains unknown.

So, if you haven’t guessed, kitties, this weeks episode is all about the briny deeps and the mysteries they hold, which of course means we’ll be dealing a lot with sea-faring folk. These people place their lives in the hands of the elements day in and day out, say what you will about how that affects them, but one thing still runs strong among many maritime workers, and that’s superstition. “Red skies at night, sailors delight, red skies in morning, sailors take warning!” is an old superstition regarding the weather, for example.

Well, for our first little boat outing, we’re going to learn about one such superstition, one with ties to old Greecian mythology, about what happens to “A Sailor Without Two Coins”

Tonight’s tale was written by an author from across the pond, so before I introduce the story, do bear in mind that whenever they mention a ‘torch’, they don’t mean a stick on fire, but a flash light, just to clear up any confusion. Meow, in this particular story, we find a family going to vacation in a summer home by the woods. A classic setting for a monstrous tale. One boy, Marty, finds the woods to be a fun place to play, at least until he starts seeing something that gives him cause for concern, a pair of “Red Lights”
