It's earnings week! After their respective announcements, Apple stock is up and Twitter stock is down. Regarding Apple, revenue dropped and hardware sales continue to decline, but less than Wall Street thought they would. Oh, and the company is still sitting on a ridiculous pile of cash. Apple says they sold 40.4 million iPhones, 9.95 million iPads (which is better than expected), and 4.25 million Macs.
Kurt Wagner joins us to talk about how Twitter still struggles with user growth and harassment. BlackBerry has made a bet on Android, first with its BlackBerry Priv (released last year with a slide-out keyboard and premium price) and now with its followup, the BlackBerry DTEK50. The National Transportation Board released a preliminary report of the May 7th fatal accident involving a Tesla in autopilot mode. Finally, MIT wants to rid the world of 3D glasses.
