Two Bad Apples

Listen Later

We begin this episode by sharing February’s event topic. We’ll be discussing the world of Android, comparing and contrasting it with iOS, and sharing where it shines brightest, especially when put up against Apple products. The event takes place on Thursday, February 24, at 8:30 PM ET. For all the infor you need to join us, make sure you’re subscribed to the Mystic Access Events mailing list. It’s a free, one-way list just for free and paid event announcements. Subscribe on any page of Mysticaccess.com.

Chris gives an overview of the very cool clipboard Windows application ClipCache. It’s made by the same company who created LinkStash, which we discuss thoroughly in this episode. It offers a ton of creativity and options for managing links you wish to copy, cut, and paste, including sorting them in folders. Chris demos several features of this paid software program to help you decide whether it may be right for you.

Do any of you remember the days when there were an array of options for getting news, weather and other important info directly from your touch tone phone? We look back on Tell Me Networks, remember the days of long distance, and discuss ways for those without smart phones to access vital information independently today.

Finally, we return to the topic of tracking, discussed extensively in the last episode, and tell you about an app called Life 360, which you can use to follow the movements of those with whom you choose to share that privilege. It’s yet another way to monitor the safety of those you love.

We hope you enjoy this episode.
