We at Two Black Guys with Good Credit felt that many professional athletes were mismanaging their finances due to lack of education regarding financial literacy. CJ Smith, a former NFL player, who actively listens to our podcast met with Shaun and was inspired to not only transition to a wealth mindset but also inspire other NFL players to do the same. With that being said, we decided to conduct FREE financial literacy seminars. These seminars took on a mind of their own and taught so many valuable lessons that we felt the need to share. Pod up people this is the hail-marry of financial podcast, let's get it!

The struggle with overwhelm has been coming up a lot lately with my coaching clients and especially with my fellow entrepreneurs out there 'grinding' and 'making it happen'. They describe this feeling of not being able to get over a self-created hump which blocks them from their projects or goals forward. Very recently, a friend of mine who has become a leader in the Tax & Accounting space shared very vulnerably on social media that she was dealing with a bout of overwhelm and more than 400 people responded with a resounding, "Me too!" So this episode is for anyone who has ever felt they were sinking into the abyss of overthought, taken hostage in their heads and stuck in inaction --including me!! Pod' up and take note as I offer you 3 of my go-to strategies that I use personally and with my clients that get them out of their own way and back into moving their goals and dreams forward!

They say one of the number one rules of success is surrounding yourself with POSITIVE PEOPLE. For many, it is not their drive, commitment or creativity that is holding them back from reaching their full potential, it's their RELATIONSHIPS! When you realize it's time to make some cuts, it's easy to spot the 'Overtly Toxic People' but what about the 'Nice Toxic People'? Julia Cha, an Executive Coach, I follow brought this to light for me and I was blown away. Pod' up to find out how to level up with the 5 simple ways to detect and remove 'subtle toxicity' from your life!
