Episode 66 ends our Halloween series and features Vampire Vineyards’ 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon. We tell spooky tales of vampires, wine competitions, and global marketing tactics. Pairings include themed meals, survival tips, and differing opinions on vampires.

Episode 65 kicks off some Halloween thrills with Final Girl, a 2019 Grenache from Santa Barbara’s Happy Canyon. We learn all about Grenache and get a little carried away with the spooky season theme. Pairings include meaty things, spooky scenes, and your choice of weapon.

Episode 62 features an orange wine: Adega de Penalva "Maceration" Branco Dão, 2021. We discuss the many virtues of Portugal, language deficiencies, and debate when fall actually begins. Pairings include an intellectual discussion in our personal salon, seafood and salt, and a bait and switch. 

Episode 61 features an organic Xarello from Catalan producer Albet i Noya. Jules almost fails a wine quiz (surprise, surprise) and Drea’s tongue continues to ride the struggle bus. Pairings include seafood, a midsummer night’s dream, and sexual confusion.

Episode 59 celebrates the ultimate summer wine cocktail, Sangria! Jules and Drea take a deep dive into the ancient roots of Sangria, discuss some variations on a theme, and craft their own Sangria sippers. Pairings include fruit (duh), slut rompers, and dogs.
