Episode 58 continues our summer vacation dream theme with Drea’s pick, a 2020 Spier Pinotage from South Africa’s Coastal Region. Episode 57: As part of their summer series, Drea and Jules are highlighting wines from bucket list vacation destinations. First up is Jules’ pick: Domaine Douloufakis’ 2019 Dafino Liatiko from Crete, Greece. This earthy red wine includes notes of ripe summer berries, tobacco, and licorice. Pairings include grilled meats, beach bonfires, and Clash of the Titans from 1981.

Episode 56 marks the unofficial start of summer with Pray For Surf 2021 rose from Tank Garage in Calistoga, California. This mourvedre-based blend is the perfect example of the free spirited philosophy behind Tank Garage’s brilliance - and emblematic of summer vibes. Pairings include our prayers for warm weather, diced avocado, and some summer facts about berries. 

On Episode 55 Jules and Drea celebrate moms everywhere with the ultimate brunch drink - the mimosa. From Paris to Hollywood, we take a deep dive into the history of this classic champagne cocktail. Pairings include epic brunches and bottomless shenanigans. 

Episode 54 celebrates our fur babies, and dogchildren everywhere, with Ecluse Winery’s Blind Dog Midnight Run NV Cuvee out of Paso Robles, California. Jules and Drea talk about their two favorite things: wine and dogs and even tell a heartwarming story or two. Pairings include woodfired delights, dog snuggles, and a new phrase we’re about to trademark.

Season 3 kicks off with a powerhouse rose from Paso Robles producer Eric Jensen and his My Favorite Neighbor label. This episode, Jules and Drea celebrate their first anniversary, each other, and the start of rose season. Pairings include raw things, grilled things, summer nights, and allergies.
