On Friday, January 11th, 2013, a group of girls sat in a high school gymnasium to fill out some surveys. Next to them was the storage area for wrestling mats - large, six feet by three feet when rolled up. One of the students noticed some socks pointing upwards from one of the vertical mats. Inside, they find 17-year-old Kendrick Johnson. Lowndes High School (LHS) of Valdosta, GA would never be the same. On 23 October 2019, 39 bodies were found inside an articulated lorry in Essex, United Kingdom. Eight were women. They have now been identified as Vietnamese nationals, and at the time of recording, their names had not been released. They are believed to be migrants being smuggled into the UK, or victims of human trafficking. Several arrests have been made in the UK, and to date, 11 arrests in Vietnam. Samuel Little, convicted of three murders, has now confessed to a total of 93 killings. The FBI have confirmed that they believe all of these murders to be credible, making Little the most prolific serial killer in US history.
