It was hard to avoid the headlines when a social media storm surrounded Algerian boxer Imane Khelif at the Paris Olympics earlier this month. After her first round opponent, Italy's Angela Carini, quit in a flood of tears just seconds into the bout, Khelif faced attacks over her gender.
