Two Guys One Cup

The St. Louis Blues flipped the script by not just stealing a game, but dominating Game 2 in the second round against the Colorado Avalanche. Now, Blues fans have a legitimate reason to believe their team has a shot in this series, and the Guys couldn't BE more excited!

The St. Louis Blues lost Game 1 to the Colorado Avalanche — or, more accurately, Jordan Binnington lost game 1 to the Colorado Avalanche. Or, more accurately still, Jordan Binnington was the only player who DIDN'T lose Game 1?

I've lost the thread. The point is: Jordan Binnington very good. Colorado Avalanche just slightly better. Rest of the St. Louis Blues... 💩

The St. Louis Blues have defeated the Minnesota Wild in six games to advance to the second round of the NHL playoffs. Now facing a tough series with the Colorado Avalanche, the future is anyone's guess. But let's pause a while and enjoy the present!

It's 2:00 AM. Imagine I wrote something witty here.

Hey! They didn't do the thing, they did the other thing! Happy Mother's Day to everyone out there, especially Bonnie O'Reilly, our new celebrity!

On that 1-10 pain chart they use in hospitals, nobody accounted for being a Blues fan in the playoffs... The guys air their dyspeptic discontent for the benefit of their listening (cat) audience.

The St. Louis Blues were never going to make it easy. Never, ever, ever...

The St. Louis Blues get off to a great start in Game 1 of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs, beating the Minnesota Wild in Minnesota by a score of 4-0. The game's top star is David Perron, who did everything in this game, spending four minutes in the penalty box, scoring a hat trick, and even notching an assist. But goalie Ville Husso looked spectacular as well in his playoff debut, recording a shutout on 37 shots.

The Scorpion King soundtrack is litty, and there is nothing else to talk about.

How else would you describe the St. Louis Blues? This is the best the offense has ever looked, by every metric — a franchise record 4-goal-game streak, a franchise record for points in a period, and a franchise record for "lines with guys named Pavel Robert and Vladimir that are all point-per-game players and seem like really cool guys that it would be fun to hang out with, probably!" Nothing terrible is EVER gonna happen. to this team!
