My mom joins me again for another episode in which we talk about alcohol, her losing a job where she worked for 43 years, the family that job felt like, finding that family feeling in a new job at 63, vacations we took when I was a kid, and things we enjoyed seeing on those vacations. We discuss my brother, and the divergent paths we've ridden through our lives, as well as discussing my setting her up for a blind date. We also discuss food, things that we enjoy now, and there's some subtle hints on what's going on behind the scenes if you're quick enough to catch them. I always enjoy this time with my mother, and I'm truly blessed as always to have her in my life. I hope you have someone like her in your life as well. Even if they aren't your mother. Even if your mother is awful to be around, I hope you have someone you can look up to like I do her. Love y'all.
In this installment, we pick up after the holidays and Dee returned home from college a bit dejected. Then we talk about the process of getting back together. Then the buildup to the wedding, and that fateful day. Then Dee talks about the first time she met my grandma, and I had a sad. This episode art is from the day of the wedding with us and my grandma.

This episode was a short cut thanks to the interface between the board and the computer. But thanks to Liz for sitting down with me and shooting the shit about shows we've seen. Maybe we'll do a longer episode in the future. Support the show so I can get rid of this awkward ass board.
Teri sits down to help recount an 18 year friendship and discusses her struggles and triumphs dealing with bipolar disorder, and having a bleeding disorder she passed on to her kid. She also talks about getting rid of toxic people and standing strong. It's one of the more enthralling episodes I've ever recorded and I'm glad to bring it to y'all today. I hope y'all enjoy the fact that she had my rapt attention for the better part of 25 minutes. It's one of the most interesting conversations I've had to date.
