HAPPY ONE YEAR TO US!

We finish off this month with a first time watch for Kate. Oceans 8 is jammed packed with stars. And what an incredible cast of women.

Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with us. We hope to keep supplying you with fun content another full year.

Nearly a decade ago before we could even fathom talking into a microphone for fun these two leading ladies worked for the Abercrombie franchise. Since the documentary recently came out on Netflix we thought we would share some more stories about what happened behind the scenes. We will post some fun pictures on our Instagram today so follow us at twoleadingladies.

It’s Wednesday! And on Wednesday’s we release new episodes. And wear pink.

We are so excited to finally talk cult classic Mean Girls. Anyone who is anyone knows every single word to the movie. Probably one of the most quotable movies of our generation. We love Mean Girls and we always will! It’s so fetch.

Enjoy!

Welcome to Read the Room, our monthly book club. For April we decided to choose the book The Wife Upstairs by Rachel Hawkins. This thriller is set in Birmingham, Al where we are from and we thought that would be really cool to read about.

Listen to find out what we rated the book 📚

Next month we will pick up The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren for our next read.

We take a trip down memory lane this week when we discuss the 2004 classic Sleepover. Come along as we discuss how we felt watching this as adults and if it still tracks for us.

Leave us a 5 star review and tell us if you have ever frozen a bra at a sleepover.

Happy April! This month our focus will be girl group movie. We chose four movies with our favorite lady gangs in them and we are confident you will enjoy listening.

This Wednesday we chose to watch Girls Trip staring Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, Tiffany Haddish and Jada Pinkett Smith. This movie is so much fun and full of laughs. We are going to New Orleans asap.

Welcome to the last episode of Melissa McCarthy month! The last movie we chose was The Heat, also starring Sandra Bullock. This movie is hilarious and we enjoyed every second of it. This month has been a true joy and we loved reviewing Melissa.

Next month we start a new series that should be so much fun! Talk to you in April 💕

Another month another hits and misses. It’s seems crazy that this is the third time we’ve already done this episode this year. It’s always our favorite one to do.

This month we discussed the following

-Stanley Cups

-Pixars Turning Red

-Netflix Tall Girl 2

-My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell

-Verity by Colleen Hoover

-It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover

-Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

Kate let some interesting news slip out this week and Ashley let some words slip out, and we love that for us.

We hope you have all had an awesome March.

Spy starring Melissa McCarthy was leaps and bounds better than Can You Ever Forgive Me and this episode is, too.

Melissa is stunning and funny as always. This was Kate’s first time watch so Ashley is running the show today and doing a fabulous job.

We will wrap up Melissa McCarthy March next week with The Heat.

Hits and Missses out on Friday.
