Two Leading Ladies

Can you ever forgive us? This movie was not it. We didn’t do a conventional walkthrough because this was a first time watch for both of us but we think it’s for the best.

Back to funny Melissa movies next week.

This month we read Raine Out by Donna Schwartze and sat down with the author herself.

Donna has been writing professionally for a while. However, she decided to start writing novels in 2020 when everyone went into quarantine. Since then she’s published 6 books with a 7th book to be published in May 2022 (all links to books listed below). Listen in as we ask her about her writing style/choices, what inspires her and what it’s like writing spice into her books.

We had an amazing time talking with Donna and appreciate her coming on our podcast! We can’t wait to keep up with her writing in the future.

Happy reading!

Suprise! This month we thought we would drop a extra episode to talk about the ever so popular Love is Blind Season 2.

We discuss the couples during the show and at the reunion.

Who was your favorite couple??

This week we dive into Life of the Party at FULL VELOCITY. Melissa McCarthy gives another wonderful performance of Deanna, a middle aged newly divorced woman who decides to finish her college degree.

Give us a 5 star review if you love Melissa.

This episode is dedicated to Merry Lyle. Love and miss you sweet girl.

It’s Melissa McCarthy month!! We are so excited to talk about this very funny and talented lady.

The first movie we chose to watch is Identity Thief. A huge transition from last week, we couldn’t help but laugh and chat our way through this episode. Melissa is spectacular and Jason Bateman as her right hand man is perfect.

Subscribe, rate our show and share todays episode with your friends, family and enemies.

Here today with very chatty monthly hits and misses.

We recap all the books, tv, and movies we have been consuming this month and we were BUSY. You have so much to look forward to this episode. We discuss HSM at full, and Kate talks the male member we’ve been seeing so much on the big screen. We love doing this episode every month. It’s always the best time.

Today we dive into our first documentary. We chose to watch Athlete A and talk about the controversy that surrounded USA Gymnastic and Larry Nassar. The audio might be a little crazy this episode so bare with us.

Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme. Get on up, it’s podcast time. Twoooo leading ladies!!!!

On a serious note, we watched Cool Runnings this week. This is a movie about the first Jamaican bobsled team. Super funny, super inspiring and a great family film.

Leave a five star review and let us know if you can believe, Jamaica they have a bobsled team 🎶

Welcome to February’s book club! This month we chose to read Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover and we have some opinions.

Today is the start of our mini Olympic series! The first movie we chose to talk about is I, Toyna.

This is an all around crazy story, but keep in mind when we walk a movie that is “based on true events” we try to stick with just the movie and not dabble into real life too much.

We have a lot to say about this movie so get ready to dive in!

Reminder!!! Read the Room comes out 2/15. Grab your copy of Ugly Love and get ready :)

Leave us a review and let us know if you are watching the Olympics or not.
