There's never a dull moment when The Doc is on call at two hospitals. This week he takes us through two cases. The first is an early morning call from a patient in the ER with a torsion, or twisted testicle. Should The Doc rush over there or was it too late? Then he gets a call about a 93 year-old woman with a potentially fatal condition that is easily treated with a standard procedure, but she has a DNR. The Doc gives his advice but ultimately it's up to the family. All this plus the regular distractions and jokes from the peanut gallery.
