Keith Pickens has joined the Southeast Missouri men's basketball program as an assistant coach, after spending the last two years in the same capacity at Missouri State. A native of St. Louis, Pickens began his coaching career as a full-time assistant with the Bears in June 2016. Prior to that, he was a standout basketball player at Missouri State from 2009-14. Seventy-one percent of Southeast Missouri's student-athlete population recorded a 3.0 or better grade point average during the Spring 2018 term. A total of 51 student-athletes posted a perfect 4.0 GPA, while 85 others had GPAs above 3.5. As a whole athletic department, the Redhawks achieved a 3.15 GPA for the spring term.
