Two Old Guys Drinking Beer!

Bill and I talk about the mass shootings that occurred last week. Per usual, we are both exhausted and angry at the lack of progress from a national perspective in solving this problem. We talk about the 2nd set of debates and our mutual level of dissatisfaction with both of them. We introduce a new beer from Sierra Nevada, which we both liked, and per usual we round out the show with our update on what's happening in the Major Leagues.  Enjoy! 50 years ago, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first of 12 men to walk on the Moon. Yes deniers, they actually did it.  Bill and I discuss our memories of that day, some of the benefits from the Apollo program, and then fire the retro rockets, come back to earth and discuss the unholy mess that is the Trump administration.  We have a terrific beer for a change, then we discuss baseball, and darn it, the Rangers are playing like, well, the Rangers.  Pop a cold one, sit back and enjoy!

Happy belated 4th of July everyone!   Bill and I discuss the recent big celebration in DC where our President informed us of some never before heard of history of our revolutionary soldiers. We try a new local brew, and wind up the show with a discussion of our beloved Texas Rangers and how they are doing as we move toward the All-Star break.  Enjoy!

So, we talked so long on politics in the last recording we decided to break the Father's Day episode in two. Here's the Beer and Baseball segment, finally!   Bill and I try Bikini Atoll, a Gose beer from the Manhattan Project Brewing company.   Suffice to say we didn't care for it very much because of its saltiness and the citrus flavor. Happy Father's Day!  Welcome to another episode of the show folks.   This pod is a politics only session. Why? Because there is so much going on it filled up our time quota.  Anyway, Bill and I discuss the goings on in Trump World and how things are heating up for the Summer.  Lots of stuff on the investigation, some breaking news by Trump himself, and we say goodbye to that bastion of veracity, that teller of truths and a stalwart of integrity, the one and only Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Bill and I get into the details of the Mueller Report and discuss the findings, how it differs from the Administration's take on it, and what is currently going on as the mess in Washington just gets stranger.  We drink a very tasty beer from Cigar City Brewing, and of course tlak a little Baseball.  Enjoy!

Well, it's been about 3 weeks since the last show and we aren't really any more informed about what is in the Mueller report than we were then. What we do know, is the White House and Democrats in Congress are starting to gear up for what looks like a long, protracted series of court battles relative to getting the full Mueller Report along with the President's Taxes.  Bill and I discuss the troubles at DHS, we review a new Dos Equis beer, and of course discuss Baseball's first few weeks of the 2019 season. We are back with the first episode of Season 3!  Bill and I have been on a hiatus for a bit and quite a lot has transpired politically in our absence.
