We discuss our first local legend. Local to us, anyway. We discuss the Devil's Tree, which is located in Port St Lucie FL, and it's ties (no pun intended) to Florida's first classified serial killer. The law enforcement officer, Gerard John Schaefer. A unique killer in that he killed in pairs. He was convicted of 2 murders, but has ties to at least 34. It's a two drinker today. so if you're driving, you'll have to wait till later.

Town citizens' favorite jokester takes a step back to talk seriously about something close to their heart. In a sneak peak at one of the Patreon benefits in honor of 10,000 downloads, Rubin talks about mental health month and what it means to him,

Truly, this is an episode that would have been better served as a video. Josh Don and Kelsey get to watch Rubin's head explode in person, you can only listen. Not much to say beyond the title. Though, Don did get the date he will be out of town wrong, it Will be two weeks from now.

This week we conclude the legends of the werewolf by learning about the real life animal attacks that occurred in the mid 1700's in the region of Gevaudan, France. An animal attack that, to this day, still remains one of the most confounding unsolved mysteries of history.

Anyways, this episode we tackle some random classic urban legends from the past: The Bug in the Ear, The Elaborate Suicide, and The Excellent Cask of Brandy.

In the first part of our two part study of werewolves, we discuss the history of the legend and some of the ways that one can become a werewolf. We also discuss the age old question of who would win in a fight: vampires or werewolves and come to the realization that we can's discuss stuff like that.

It's one of the most notorious dates in history. And as such, it was a prime target for urban legends. Today, we discuss three of the less serious stories surrounding 9/11. We walk a thin line here. But rest assured, we in no way mock what happened that day, just the insanity around it.

Just in time for Easter. This week we tackle the Staten Island Boogeyman, Cropsey. But this is a rare urban legend indeed. Because the legend became cemented in the minds of residents through the actions of a demented child abductor/killer, Andre Rand. Its a first for us as we tell the tale of an urban legend that actually came to life.

College life sucks. But not nearly as bad as it does for the people in today's stories. From botched hazing rituals, to a classroom demonstration that goes awry, today's stories make a case for vocational school.
