Two True Freaks! 2

This week the freaks plumb their childhoods and rake over the trauma that Star Trek wrought on their young, impressionable minds. Star Trek was a Sci-Fi series, but it had it's share of creepy and downright scary moments. Salt suckers, silicon based acid-spewing pizza creatures, flying jellyfish and the Evil Burger King....they're all here...AND MUCH MORE!

This week the freaks finish up their two Theme Month podcasts with this spirited, typically tangental discussion that covers everything from Wertham to whether comics have a left or right bias. Now do we get to discuss religion next? No wonder Scott drinks during our show!

This week is a more free-form show. The Freaks discuss trailers for Frank Miller's "The Spirit", "TR2N","Terminator: Salvation" and a remake of "The Day The Earth Stood Still". Chris throws a fit about garage sale etiquette and Scott invents the phrase "hobby raping". Add some Firesign Theatre, the Justice League roll call, and a trip to the Freak Museum and you can call it a show. The song featured today in the Freak Museum is "Our Song" by Roger Waters from the soundtrack to the movie "The Body".
