Up first we are diving as far as any man has gone in the 1989 underrated film by big time filmmaker James Cameron The Abyss! Following that we sign our enlistment papers and board the USS Alabama and decide if we should both turn our keys with the taught Tony Scott thriller Crimson Tide!

Spoiler Alert: The film is Called Crimson Tide not On Crimson Tide but it does in some ways does sound better!

Welcome back film and podcast lovers to the second part of our glorious send off to 2021! That is right the boys of TWGTF are back and we have reached the five best movies we each saw last year! Welcome back and Happy New Year all you TWGTF fans! It has been quite a year to say the least! Big things happened in both hosts lives and needless to say we saw some pretty great movies! However we are going to kick of 2022 by talking about the final piece to the Anderson Triangle! You've met PTA and Wes now we introduce you to our latest inductee under the sir name of Anderson, Mr. Paul W.S. Anderson! Needless to say this was a very strange talk about a man who in some ways will hopefully be looked back at in years to come as one of the first journeyman blockbuster directors! We both have lists that chew the same dirt and also blaze their own trails! Once again Happy New Year and join us back in February to see what we decided was best in the year 2021!

A belated happy Thanksgiving and welcome back to the final episode in our 2021 Noirvember series! This week we are going out with a bang. Well perhaps several bangs as we have two loaded films to close out! First up we have the spectacular and really well written film from Nicholas Ray and his first collaboration with Humphrey Bogart. It's 1949's Knock on Any Door! Following that we take a look at the second Jules Dassin film and might just be one of the best Noir's of its time! We also get a non sleepy Richard Widmark in the 1950 film Night and the City!

Welcome back to TWGTF and the third week of Noirvember!!! This week we leap from the 50's into the swinging 1970's! First up we not only look at a great little Neo-Noir. we also are viewing the birth of the Black Exploitation movement with the first ever entry in 1971's Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song! Following this we ease on down the road talking to ourselves and figuring out what happens to friends from the past! That is correct ladies and gentleman we are looking at one of the seminal films by the late great Robert Altman. The Long Goodbye!
