Casual Conversations with members of the community.

No defined centerpiece or purpose of these talks aside for background noise.

If you're someone who throws on The Office for the 30th time just to stave off the silence and feel less lonely, here's some extra content :)

Dr. Nick Allen is the director of digital mental health at UO. He's been studying depression & it's purpose, causes, and ways out for the past few decades.

Nate came on the show to share his experience on the autism spectrum, coming out as bisexual, crossdressing to assuage OCD/anxiety, and more!

This episode was much different than I anticipated & I learned a lot about topics I had no idea about. If you've ever been curious about autism and bisexuality, this is the episode for you :)

The episode ends with an original song played live by Nate.

An hour packed debate of heated disagreements between our core beliefs, debated in a lively and genuine manner as a way to sharpen our ideas.

Thomas and I disagree on many fronts, and that's why it's so powerful to have conversations like these. If these sorta talks are too high energy for you, tomorrows talk will be the polar opposite!

After we cut, we recorded 2 more hours behind the scenes, delving deeper into the topics on this podcast in a more relaxed manner, and that will be available on Patreon later this week!

Sam comes on the show to debate ideas and concepts that affect us all.

It starts off a little political for the first 15 min, but we hit an interesting flow in this one. Skip in

I'd describe this episode as enjoyable politics for people who hate hearing about politics. Political issues are something that affects all of us, the powers that be want you to tune out; and this conversation is an invitation to tune in :)

(There is a small amount of background noise in this episode, there was a german shepherd puppy walking around while we spoke)

Thomas Hiura is a local musician and advocate, running for mayor in 2020. We talk about social issues in a refreshing and engaging way. The word "politics" often pushes people away, but this is different from typical political talk. We find the middle ground between our beliefs and use this as a platform to share ideas.
