Casual Conversation with Rick, my old roommate up at OSU, where we both graduated with a degree in kinesiology. He just published his first book and comes on the show to talk about a whole bunch of random stuff.
Casual Conversations don't have a centerpiece and are just fun conversations with friends and members of the community. If you're someone who throws on The Office for the 30th time just to stave off the silence and feel less lonely, here's some extra content :)
Darius is a recent grad trying to start up a business selling t-shirts aimed at minorities
Yonathan is an exchange student from Panama. He comes on the show to talk about cultural differences that he's noticed.
I met Yonathan in a Star Trek based philosophy class. He was always a blast to kick it with and I'm glad he came on the show to share his perspective!
徐青洋 (goes by Aiden) is an exchange student from China. We met playing badminton and played as doubles in a tournament.
With all the news about the riots in Hong Kong, I wanted to hear the other perspective to see how people from mainland China see it.
Casual Conversation with Elias! He's an incredible drummer & overall lover of music. We talk about a lotta fun stuff in this one, always a blast to speak with him.

I'm joined again by Jason to discuss social issues, primarily the idea of power & privilege, who got it, and how the world should move forward.
I always love speaking with Jason, and I'm looking forward to continuing the conversation.

Nelson was my academic advisor at OSU & I enjoyed speaking with him so much that I'd go to his office even when I didn't need anything.
He's truly a wonderful person that's put considerable time into developing quality thoughts & ideas that help others lead better lives.
We talked about philosophy in a lighthearted way, how we got where we are today, and he told a great story near the end :)
