Republican Rep. Jason Dockter was found guilty on May 3rd and sentenced on May 9th. Judge Weiler brought a strict sentence of $2,500 fine and 250 hours of community service. Why a sentence beyond what the prosecution was asking for? Because Dockter showed no remorse and didn't apologize to the state.
