This week on the show we have the Director of Player Personnel of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Tyrone Brooks is an experienced baseball professional entering his 20th year in baseball with wide ranging experiences as a front office administrator and scout (pro and amateur levels). His notable front office experience includes working in major league administration, scouting and player development. Prior to joining the Cleveland Indians after the 2006 season, he was a valued staff member for the Atlanta Braves, contributing to the organization winning 10 Division titles in 11 seasons (including 2 World Series appearances-1996 and 1999, during the Braves' unprecedented 14 year run of division titles). During his time with the Pittsburgh Pirates, the organization has gone on to make the postseason the last two years (2013, 2014, 2015).
Tyrone discusses the opportunities in basesball and how we got his start. He is on of the hottest GM candidates in MLB. Besides all of that he gives back in a big way to the community.
