Today we follow 3 women who traveled with Jesus and "ministered" to him. They had been healed by him, and it is amazing to what places they went as they followed him.

Today we read Exodus 2:1-10, the story of the mother of Moses and Moses' birth. Although she is not named in this story, from later texts we find that her name is Jochebed. A perceptive woman of skill, courage and faith.

Today we read 1 Kings 21:1-14, the story of Naboth and King Ahab. Ahab, who stands for Empire, wants Naboth, the faithful man, to give up his vineyard for a vegetable garden. Generational community for a fast buck (not that there is anything wrong per se with vegetable gardens).

Today we start our new summer series called "Nobody Knows Me At All". This series will focus on little-known Bible figures who made a difference. The purpose is to understand better how the “little people” - including us - can make a real difference for God’s Kingdom and encourage us to take hope in the daily, routine and sometimes mundane things God has given us to do. We will always tie their stories to Jesus, the Suffering Servant, who took the way of humility, service and death to bring about His Kingdom.
