Today we start a new series on the 7 letters to the churches of Asia Minor (Turkey) as recorded in Revelation 2-3. This is the introduction from Revelation 1, particularly verse 1, where John sees Jesus walking among the 7 lamp stands, the churches. Jesus was with the churches then, and He is among us now.

Today we conclude our study of Revelation 22,  focusing particularly on the tension we feel living in the "Time Between" the first and second coming of Jesus.

Today we read Revelation 22:1-6, the last real "image" presented in Revelation and the Bible. And this image presents us with a vision of healing for all nations - who had been the enemies of God and his people! It's really quite remarkable!

At our Candlelight service on December 16, 2018, we looked at Revelation 21:3-4 and Zephaniah 3:16-20.

Today we look at Revelation 21:9-27. The new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, that movement of God's space coming to join our space. And John sticks his thumb in the eye of the Roman Empire by giving the measurements of that city, which encompass the whole land mass of the Roman Empire. It's a fascinating passage.

We have read through Revelation this past fall. We have learned about Empire and the power of evil, and we have learned about God’s plan to destroy evil once and for all. This Advent we will study the last two chapters of Revelation.We are waiting for the New Age described in those chapters – the Age in which all will be restored, renewed and re-created.Advent is the time of waiting: We wait for the birth of the baby Jesus, and we wait for the New Age.

Today we look at Revelation 19:11-15, the final battle against evil and judgment of evildoers.
