In a dominant performance, No. 3 UConn defeated New Hampshire 92-53, with Alex Karaban leading the way. Karaban, the Huskies’ only returning starter, scored 17 points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out four assists, and blocked four shots. He played a pivotal role in building UConn’s 35-24 halftime lead, then hit two early second-half 3-pointers to widen the gap. Supporting Karaban, Solo Ball contributed 14 points, Tarris Reed Jr. added 11 points and seven rebounds, and Liam McNeeley posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Jayden Ross returned from an ankle injury to score 14 points in 22 minutes.

New Hampshire’s Anthony McComb III led his team with 17 points, followed by Sami Pissis with 15 and Trey Woodyard with 11, but the Wildcats couldn’t match UConn’s depth. This victory moves UConn to 2-0 as they continue their strong start to the season.
