In this special bonus episode of Under Consoletation, Luke and Ash look back at the GamesMaster Live '92, from the Birmingham's NEC Arena. They talk about Ash's memories of the show, look at the official show guide, and review a Quavers promotional video from the event hosted by Johnny Vaughn.

We also speak with people who went to the show, including Peter Honnor who appeared in a photo from NMS's coverage of the show, Phil Lunt who won a Sonic 2 challenge, and future GamesMaster commentator Rik Henderson, who tells a charming story about how they were robbed on the way back, and had food thrown at them in a curry house! It's an episode that tastes curly!

Peter Walters karts around on Super Mario Kart, Andy Thompson from Oxford takes on Neighbours/Home & Away star Richard Norton in VR simulation Catch The Flag, and it's triple trouble in the final challenge of the show, as Nino, Martino and Angelo - the Goddiano triplets - bump around on Pinball Fantasties!

We're busting out the Super Scope as Adam Freeman keeps moles in their holes on Mole Patrol, it's a granny grapple as Aunty Marisha takes on Lettie from Bristol on King of Monsters 2, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan accepts the British Bulldog's challenge on WWF Super WrestleMania as he takes on Hayden Croft from Birmingham.

It's historical simulations (sort of) in the Review Zone as we take a look at Sim City and KGB, GamesMaster helps struggling gamers on Super Mario World, Bart vs. The Space Mutants, and Super Tennis, and a competition is open for GamesMaster viewers to make their own games! Keep your dogs and pussies inside the house in case of big bangs!

Plus, we're joined by Maffew from Botchamania to talk about his love of the show, his knowledge of wrestling, and his memories of *that* Dave Perry incident.

Not only that, but we speak with Duncan Willis to talk about his memories of reviewing Sim City and KGB, and why there wasn't a third review in the episode.

Here comes a new challenger!

While GamesMaster ruled the video game TV roost, a new show began on CITV which not only aimed to be Tomorrow's World for kids, but also showed off new video games, gave hints, and cheats on how to beat them, and new consoles! This is Bad Influence.

We take a quick pitstop along our GamesMaster journey to take a look at the first episode of Bad Influence, where Andy Crane and Violet Berlin take us through previews and reviews of Streets of Rage 2, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario Land 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Joe & Mac, Putty, Smash TV, and Battletoads, Z Wright shows us Seattle via virtual reality, and Nam Rood gives hints and cheats for Sonic the Hedgehog, Dr. Franken, and Zool! All the finger twiddling and the joystick juggling was all worth it!

Plus, let's get spooky with reviews of Splatterhouse 2, The Legacy, and Barbie for GameBoy, along with a look at the top 5 accessories for your handheld console in time for Christmas, and GamesMaster helps struggling gamers on Thunder Force III, Super Addams Family, and James Pond II: Codename Robocod! And when it's all said and done, we'll take a look at Aunty Marisha's red snapper.
