UCP: The GamesMaster Retrospective

Scott Andrews from Manchester speedruns the Himalayas stage on DuckTales, Christian Price takes on Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker designer Archer McLean on Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker (with Jimmy White), and Neighbours star Ashley Paske embarrasses himself on Neighbours for the Amiga. The review zone gets funky with Top Banana and Bart Simpson's Escape From Camp Deadly, GamesMaster helps struggling gamers on Spider-Man, Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, and Shadow of the Beast, there's a great preview of Chaos Engine, and Luke loses his mind over the review of Toejam and Earl for the Mega Drive. It's a podcast responsible for more sprained wrists than Julia Roberts.

Richard Wiltshire from Dartford revs his way down the aisle with his hands on his throttle on Road Rash, Darts champion Eric Bristow tries not to decapitate a maiden on Hemidall, and there's sibling rivalry as Lisa takes on her brother Jason at Panzer Kick Boxing. It's fantasy week in the Review Zone as Shadow of the Beast and Populous II for Amiga get a look at alongside King's Quest V, GamesMaster helps kids on DuckTales, Altered Beast and Super Mario Bros. 2, and there's a bizarre PR fluff piece for the Sega Mega Drive. So get out your joystick and give it a loving caress, because that's what we'll be doing for the next hour and fifteen minutes.

Nick Kierancroft gets hot on Heatman's stage of Mega Man II, Sahid Hersey pounds balls against Wimbledon Champion Annabelle Croft on Pro Tennis Tournament 2, and members of the congregation attempt to beat Zoom! in under a minute in a boy/girl/boy situation. Meanwhile, we get a big preview of Dune, Lotus Turbo Challenge II and Formula 1 GP get reviewed for Amiga along with Outrun Europa for Master System, and GamesMaster aids clueless console owners on Alex Kidd in The Enchanted Castle, Cadaver, and Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles. I know it’s cold out there, but if you set your chilly out in front of this show, you’ll be thawed out in no time.

Robert Clark takes on a tough Lemmings challenge, Paul Turner faces former British Heavyweight Champion Gary Mason on Sonic Blast Man, and a small child named Alex Verrey ups the ante as he attempts to get 160 rings on Sonic The Hedgehog. What ever happened to him? Meanwhile, First Samurai and Pit Fighter for Amiga are reviewed alongside Double Dragon II for Game Boy, and GamesMaster helps struggling gamers on Strider, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Robocop. Also, do you love the Power Glove? Is it so bad? It's a.... good episode.
