The church today needs godly leaders who will teach and care for its members.

God’s judgment has fallen upon Judah. The first batch of exiles were already deported to Babylon. Is this the end for God’s people? The false prophets say, “NO! This exile will only last a couple of years!” Jeremiah writes, “Lies! You will stay there for seventy years.” Why would God punish His people so harshly? Has God finally forsaken His rotten people? Or does He have a plan for them?

Despite being by his own people, Jeremiah was frequently summoned by the king, looking for signs of help from God to rescue them from their enemies. But in the last days of Judah, Jeremiah has no good news left to tell -- only bad news. How did it come to this and what can we learn from this?
