Darth Maul Shadow Lord will show a more progressive version of Maul where he now respects the Jedi in comparison to Palpatine and the Empire. I see the pattern that studios keep taking darker characters by giving them strong morality checks and while this is true in life and character progression, I don't think ALL characters should get a dose of this. Like Kratos for example, he was too different in the Norse games compared to the Greek ones. Yes, character progression and changed thinking is a thing, but I think Maul could still despise the Jedi while hating the Empire all the same like his character always did.
