There are many ways procrastination can present itself. Some examples are, strolling through social media, filling your time with minor and or meaningless tasks to put off the task that awaits, sleeping, and being easily distracted. This is just naming a few of them.
Those with an unhealthy relationship with food will use food to procrastinate, by putting the task at hand off until after one is done with eating a meal or snacking. I know this because I have been this person. As long as I was eating I wasn’t needing to do the task that was deep down making me feel uncomfortable. I was literally feeding my fear. Which didn’t help matters at all.
