Trese is continuing her "Black Women Matter Series" with the beautiful and accomplished Victoria L. Martin.

Victoria is the Associate Director of Student Engagement  at Johns Hopkins University. She holds a  Bachelor of Arts with a Sociology minor in Biology from Winthrop University. A Master of Education, Higher Education Administration  from The University of South Carolina. A Master of Science- Clinical and Mental Health Counseling  from Mercer University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Educational Leadership at Fayetteville State University; sis is DEGREED ok!?!?

If all that wasn't enough, she is also a finer woman of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated!!! Trese and V discuss the nuances of supporting HBCUs while being a leader at a PWI, love & relationships and of course some Black culture topics.

It's an episode you will surely want to share with friends and family on the greatness that is a Black Woman!

It's been a couple of weeks so Trese has some things to catch up on. First up..... The pandemic that's happening, except in Atlanta. She's also discussing the COVID-19 vaccine(s), President Obama, President Elect Biden and Vice- President elect Harris. Lastly, people at the table that have no business speaking. Just sit there and listen. It's a good one!

Much like last season with the Black Men Matters Series, Trese wants to dive into the beautiful and unique stories of black people, everyday people that many may not know about. This season, Trese is doing a Black Women Matter Series in honor of Breonna Taylor. This first episode of the season features Lysa Woods who holds a Bachelors in Biology, A Masters in Public Health, currently working towards her doctorate in Public Health and is the author of "Hey Yall, Aly Here! Presents: Sunday's at Mimi's". Many of the later accomplishments happening while being a single mother to her beautiful daughter. It wasn't easy and Lysa unpacks, for the first time publicly, how domestic violence played a major part in where she is today.

This week Trese is discussing Netflix and all the amazing new shows they have released, including Jingle Jangle and the documentary Trial 4. Trial 4 forces Trese to evaluate police corruption in other cases involving black people such as Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery that still require justice. Never a dull moment when being Black in America.

This week, Trese is giving you an update on her girl's trip, this alarming COVID trend, the election results that have caused some people to lose their mind, white women and the tragic murder of Quawan Charles. 

It's been a WEEK but Trese is here, ready to unpack it all; unapologetically.

Trese is excited to be back for Season 2! On this episode: she is discussing what's been going on during her hiatus, breaking down her thoughts on the Devale & Khadeen tape that's been circulating the internet about pressure into monogamy and of course the election! Buckle up, she's baaaaaacccckkkk!

Part 1 of this conversation kicked off there on Wednesday, September 2nd but that conversation was so good that we carried Part 2 over to this week's episode and the season finale of Unapologetically Living with Trese. Always open to keeping the conversation going, Trese sat down with her good girlfriend and life coach, Annette Smith, to discuss the intricacies of Sisterhood including the whole Single vs Married debacle, cultivating new friendships and how to peacefully exit ones that have served their time.
