I hate being human at times because I need to learn to leave people where they at. I lack in discipline, in every aspect of my life. Jan.28.2023 full transparency: life is Life-ing. I lost my great grandpa and a uncle in the same week before coming into the New Year. I feel like I’m just numb to a lot of things and my job as an auditor is a lot. 60 hour weeks from January through April is draining. I’m realizing I’m not as loving as I once was. Experiences have made me so desensitized and mean, I feel like I don’t recognize myself. So right now I’m trying to find who the REAL: Telisia Patrice Smith is. I feel like I’m hitting a pivotal point in my life and getting my shit together slowly but surely. It’s not easy, life; ya know.. It’s funny how God will send you a test to see how you’re going to act and I feel like I have been passing tests- left and right. I had to get desperate for God again over this past weekend I really fell back in love with God. Praying, crying, being vulnerable, shouting, sowing and it PAID OFF! Who wouldn’t serve a God like this? Genuinely. He shows up for me and loves me more than anyone ever could.

Finally got tattoo #17 ! It’s been long over due. During this episode I discuss a little everything from relationships, to finding love, kids and giving my mom props for the genes I have. Currently I am in this stage of my life, called “finding my way.” But the good news is I have a new place to look forward to moving in with a roomie in July. So cheers to new beginnings and breaking old habits.🥂

My Bishop preached a message on Sunday entitled: Mind Traps Pt 1 it was a phenomenal word. It struck a nerve and took me down memory lane though. So I pose the questions to you: Who has your mind? Why do they have your mind? And are they worth your dreams? Too many times younger me found herself “in love” and “dumb.” Being riDICKulous and losing myself in the name of love for someone who in the END never deserved me. Guys are you loving yourself or sexing the bride of chucky? Ladies are you compromising your goals to be laid up / fluctuating weight due to stress? You better STAND UP and get your mind back!
