Hurry! Get your nails and cross and get in line quickly if you want a good spot for what may come down to my crucifixion by the scientific community (among others) as I dare to challenge the Double Slit Experiment, as well as the accepted theories behind particles and waves. :-)
In the Double Slit Experiment, it doesn't seem to me that the multiple bands that occur for waves have occurred because the wave is somehow interfering with itself, and canceling out portions. I think instead we are being shown the most simple and direct answer but the answer is being misinterpreted: These multiple bands are showing the multiple and yet undetermined potential - the fluid, non-specific and non-localized behavior we choose to label as wave. It's saying "I am demonstrating to you that I'm not just 'here'. I am here. And here. And here. And here." Something like that. But a wave isn't "something" - rather, a wave is a behavior, a potential expression of being, as is a particle. And both wave behavior and particle behavior are expressions of the same thing.
So join me in exploring the behaviors of both Spiritual Seekers as well as the behavior of what is currently referred to as waves and particles. I say currently because I hope this viewpoint soon changes. It seems to me that 'particle is to wave' as 'frozen is to thawed' or 'determined is to undetermined'. It's just a transient behavior - not an entirely different creature.
For example, you act in one way as you go about your active daily routine, but act quite differently as you rest in a suspended state of sleep. The two behaviors look and act nothing like each other. What if we were silly enough to imagine we must be two different people since we are demonstrating such different behavior, identifying ourselves as Walter when we were awake and Paul when we were asleep?
Or what if you demonstrated one behavior as a doctor working in a hospital, but quite a different behavior when at home painting with watercolors? You are always and at all times still a doctor, as well as an artist, aren't you? You are just toggling between one behavior or the other and in what you are manifesting at the moment. It'd be silly to think you had become one or the other, completely leaving behind your other potential. Nothing 'became' anything - it already was, and still is. And the 'tricky' images in this video didn't change when you saw one or the other view. We did, and it'd be silly of us to think otherwise, wouldn't it? And what if we are applying the same silly assumptions to waves and particles? What if? Because I think we are..........
So, most scandelously, I think both 'behaviors' (wave and particle) are ever present. It is 'us', our awareness, that makes the switch, But both are ever present. I'll say it again: Both are ever present. Nothing 'becomes' or changes into this or that. The photon/electron is always both. Always. We 'switch'. Watch the video and see if you don't agree.
Oops.....Gotta run........I think I see an angry, torch-bearing mob headed my way......... :-O
