It's the first episode of a new season and the celebration is in full swing! Kurt tells Luis about the accidental genius that tricked the internet, and a strange experiment that led to an even stranger court case. 

Luis spends most of the episode flirting with cancellation like it's Natalie Portman, meanwhile Kurt can't seem to stop making jokes about psychology in the 60s. Neither of the boys seem particularly interested in talking about the actual stories. Also look out Britain and Dr. Zimbardo, we're coming for you in this episode (apparently?)

A special guest tells Kurt and Luis about the Persian slave whose beautiful singing voice made him a cultural icon, and a magic man with a drastic plan to save an empire. Legit! It's all about the liquids! Plates!!

Kurt takes a well-deserved break as special guest and Queen of the Southwest Elaina Richards ("In Other News...") tells Luis two rootin', tootin' stories from the great Arizona plains, from giving the Catholic Church the finger, to trying to survive in the desert without water. Very sandy, very fun. 

Oh boy is there a lot going on in this episode! Kurt tells Luis about two female pirates who plundered, pillaged, and girl-bossed their way through the Caribbean, while Luis tells Kurt about the dark (but tasty) origins of a famous Mexican food. Also the boys play some end-of-season games, and the fate of this season's loser is determined.

Luis tells Kurt all about the best bromance in the Classical Roman world, as well as the invention of gunpowder and the explosive (ha!) religious ceremonies that involved this magical go bang bang powder.

Mind you, there's plenty of penis talk this episode, and yet, surprisingly little devolution into playground humor.

Kurt tells Luis about the lucky idiot who accidentally gamed early-American currency, the global trade network, and the whalebone market, and an inventor with some very conflicting achievements. Also, the phantom of the pod has struck again already! Somehow he managed to make Luis forget that he needed to buy a new mic cable! Again!

Luis tells Kurt a tale of how one man's ailment is another man's biological weapon, how maybe just maybe the moon landing was actually a hoax (NOT clickbait!)

This is an episode full of scheming, so if you're not into mild mischief, the door's right there, chief.

Kurt tells Luis about the strange and wonderful history of an Ohio convention center, and the old-timey pitcher who was too weird for baseball. In other news, the boys break their 1 episode streak of getting through a full recording with no audio problems.

Luis tells Kurt about one man's religious journey to single-handedly legitimize polygamy by raising bulls, and the very strange reason why Presidents hold so much power (here's a hint: it's guns and sex).

In this very special episode, Kurt and Luis are back together in person again. To celebrate, we've chosen some of the rejected story ideas from the last ten episodes and compiled a "best of the rest" episode.
