  • How To Thrive At Home

It's been a crazy few weeks for everyone. We've been churning out At Home Workouts for the Uncivilized crew, navigating the new platforms we now solely operate on and putting together all the other content to help you keep on track while we have closed our doors. Which is exactly our topic for today, what can we do while we are at home to make sure we are using our time as best as we can.

From keeping on top of training and nutrition, to staying on track with daily habits and rituals becomes even more important in this time where there is way less structure than we are used to. Going further than that, what can we do to actually learn to new skills, work on weaknesses in our fitness or spend some time diving into personal development. The possibilities are endless, but we talk today about what we can do to to ensure we are not just surviving at home, but that we are thriving.

As always, please like, rate, review, comment and share the podcast to anyone you think would like to listen or could learn anything from todays episode.

  • More Doesn't Mean Better

This week we talk about the concept of "More Doesn't Mean Better". In our training it's often very easy to think that we need to do "more" in order to progress. Whether thats more volume in training,  more time in the gym, or more weight on the bar. We talk about how this may not always be the best strategy, and that making the most of your time in the gym, and how focusing on other elements rather than just getting in "more" will benefit you and help you progress. We also have a surprise guest who joins in with the party about half way through.

We hope you like this weeks episode and take away something valuable from it. As always, let us know if you have any topics you want us to cover, rate, review, like and share!

This was a really fun one to talk about this week and we hope you enjoy it team! As always, let us know your takeaways from this episode, rate, review, share and if you've got any questions then just let us know.

  • New Year Review & Simple Doesn't Mean Easy

We are back! Been a hot minute since we did a Podcast and we are pumped to get back to it! With everything thats been going on at the gym, it's been tough to fit them in and thats exactly what we go over to start off this episode. The gym refurb, merch orders, our coffee addition, timetable changes and preview of whats to come in the next month or so which us leads into the topic of Simple Doesn't Mean Easy.

Often after a long break or a holiday period we want to full throttle back into our training and do as much volume of complex movements as we can to make up fo what we feel we have missed or lost in our time off. We dive into why this may not be the best idea and how often the most simple workouts and movements can be extremely challenging and are exactly what we need to re-set and implement a sustainable approach to our training.

As always, thank you for listening, be sure to give us some feedback, rate, review and share us on your social media.

    Peace & love,
