  • Share Your Story, Media Assets, and Skipping EP 142

Donna Cravotta has been the expert in media assets long before Catherine met her a decade ago.

Donna talks about how opportunities can be missed by not sharing your own story. She encourages you to have everything in place - your media kit etc - and why that’s so important.

She also explains that when you hand the various pieces of your story to someone else to craft that other person will often see things you do not. We don’t always know which story is the one so we inadvertently leave gaps.

When you can respond quickly and with the right assets it’s a BIG confidence booster.

Tune in to hear Donna’s story about the hand model and other client successes.

    About Donna

Donna Cravotta is the founder and CEO of Cravotta Media Group where they help authors and speakers cover their assets with custom designed story-driven marketing assets including book and speaker reels

And their version of a mix-tape, a reel that covers all of a client's highlights.

These can be used for pitching media, podcasts, speaking opportunities, and more.

  • Marketing Techniques, Big Ideas, and How a “Neatnick” and Disorganized Creative share Love and Business EP 141

Ilene & Ted shared how she and Ted met and how they work together even though Ilene is a person with she believes undiagnosed ADHD and her husband is a list-maker and organizer "freak".

They also shared their insights into how small companies and solopreneurs can grow their businesses through marketing techniques that really work, giving several strategies that you can use right now.

You’ll love hearing their stories of love and their varying viewpoints on running a business. And you’ll discover that two is way better than one when it comes to marketing brilliance!

    About

Ilene Greene opened MarketShare Communications in 1986 to bring results-driven marketing and advertising services to small and middle-market companies in northern NJ and the NY/NJ metro area.

In 1976, Ted founded Design Graphics, a print graphics and marketing agency in northern NJ, and in 2004, after reconnecting with Ilene, merged his company with MarketShare Communications.

They became co-owners and grew the business into a digital marketing agency serving small and middle market clients and non-profits around the country.

In October of 2008, Ilene was inducted into the NJ Advertising Club’s Advertising Hall of Fame and in March of 2009, was named one of New Jersey’s “50 Best Women in Business” by NJBIZ.

They are (they think) the only husband and wife marketing agency in the tri-state area…or maybe even further!
