There was a point in my spiritual journey when I thought I was growing, but all I was really doing was collecting information. I went deep into topics like akashic records, sacred geometry, channeling, near death experiences, angels, and anything that felt mystical or exciting. It looked like progress, but it wasn’t actually moving me forward.
In this episode of Unconditional Joy, I talk about how I realized I was using spiritual knowledge as a distraction from the real work. The real work for me has been inner work — sitting with my emotions, unraveling old patterns, feeling what needs to be felt, and letting go of what my ego clings to.
Sometimes it’s easier to chase information than to face ourselves. I share what helped me shift, what I let go of, and how returning to practices like mindfulness, journaling, Kirtan, and emotional presence helped me reconnect with my path.
If you’ve ever found yourself going down spiritual rabbit holes and calling it growth, you’re not alone. Let me know if any part of this resonates with you.
