- Alcatraz first aired as part of the February 8, 1989 episode.

- The Tallman House Ghost first aired as a part of a Halloween episode that aired on October 26, 1988

---------------------------------------

We decided it was a good time to re-do a few of our earlier episodes given the horrible audio quality of them. Since some of our favorite segments were covered in our first few episodes it feels right to give them the respect they deserve. Our first case is about one of the most epic prison escapes of all time, the escape from Alcatraz. Next we re-focus on the Tallman house ghost that drove Debby and Alan Tallman out of their house. Josh almost secured an interview with the Tallman's daughter about a year ago but unfortunately it never came through.

- Roswell aired as part of the September 20, 1989 episode.

- The Dale "Liz Carmichael" first aired on the April 5, 1989 episode.

---------------------------------------

We decided it was a good time to re-do a few of our earlier episodes given the horrible audio quality of them. Since some of our favorite segments were covered in our first few episodes it feels right to give them the respect they deserve. Our first case is the fraud case of Liz Carmichael. She was a woman with many secrets, one of which was that her car that didn't actually exist. Next we tackle the grandaddy of 'em all, the Roswell crash in 1947. To this day the government is sticking to the cover story of it being a "downed weather balloon".

- Richard Relf aired as part of the October 27, 1995 episode.

- Dorothy Donovan first aired on the May 12, 1995 episode episode.

---------------------------------------

Richard Relf decided one day that he wanted to print out blank checks from his company and fill in whatever amounts he desired. If that weren't sketchy enough he took his daughter and went into hiding. Dorothy Donovan was a 70 year old woman who's live ended in multiple stab wounds to the face and abdomen by someone who can only be described as a monster.

- Paul Stamper aired as part of the October 16, 1991 episode.

- Steven Cox first aired on the November 16, 1988 episode.

---------------------------------------

Paul Stamper needs to be stamped out. Paul's rap sheet reads about as long as a manual for a washing machine. Next we talk about some Cox. Steven Cox was a fraudster of the highest order. Finally we end on a ranch that the former owner claimed was constantly invaded by UFOs.

We first talk about the hilariously absurd case of the "UFO Healing". Look, we're happy Lynne Plaskett was cured from her cancer but was it REALLY from a tiny UFO that came in through her window? Next we discuss the unexplained death of Crystal Spencer. She was a dancer, she danced for money... and she died at some point. Her creepy old boyfriend thinks it was murder. Finally we look over and discuss the article that came out a few years ago where Chuck Rak claims that Josh & Mike's FAVORITE Unsolved Mysteries segment "The Allagash Abductions", was a hoax. This is truly a dark day on the podcast.

---------------------------------------

UFO Healing first aired on April 25, 1997

Crystal Spencer first aired on March 20, 1991

Allagash Abductions first aired on September 18, 1994

In our first segment we talk about the case of a woman only known by "Debby". She took a shotgun blast to the face and survived but because of her facial disfigurement her life will never be the same. As for her assailant? He remains on the loose. Next we discuss the case of Linda Sherman. One day at a restaurant some women noticed a skull outside the window conspicuously placed in a flower bed. The only suspect that hasn't been ruled out is her husband Don Sherman. Finally we talk about one of the most hilariously-named robbers of all time, the Chevy Chase bandit.

You could classify these segments of Unsolved Mysteries as "so bad they're good". Unlike our "worst Unsolved Mysteries segments" episode, these segments actually have some entertainment value despite them being just awful.

Just in time for the new year Josh & Mike throw some more mysteries in your ears! Bobby Fischer suffered from cystic fibrosis and needed help paying his medical bills. After reaching out to his father, William Fischer, things went terribly wrong. Michael Swango was a sick, demented person who poisoned his patients and would receive a slap on the wrist for it. Finally Michael Swango got what was coming to him. Finally we discuss the New York Times article about the secret U.F.O. fund set up by the Pentagon. This isn't some tin foil hat zine about little green men... this article came out in the NEW YORK TIMES. I think we might be making some progress here.
